I am so smart.

Something truly fantastic happened yesterday.
I RE-downloaded the blogger app to my IPhone and we all know what that means! Blogging just got easy again! I used to post a lot because I would just upload pictures from my phone through the app and then I could talk a little and show you my daily life. Well, the app started messing up a few months back and I am technology stupid so I just deleted it and went on with life. I forgot about it and then magically yesterday I thought... hmmm I should RE-Download it!

Speaking about my forgetful mind... I accidentally bought my Gran 3 different birthday cards this year. Oh and did I mentioned that I managed to mail 5 different birthday cards LATE in the month of August. Yes, I have 5 different birthdays to celebrate in August...ridiculous.

I will have you know I purchased the cards in plenty of time to get them mailed...but I failed miserably when it came to addressing them. We've got 3 more birthdays coming up in September and I will have you know that I've already purchased all the cards I need to send out...but we will see if they go out in time this month.

I tried Thai food for the first time ever last week at work.
I ordered the most Chinese thing I could find and it was okay...until it made me sick.
Not a Thai fan.

I... Terri Knight am in a Fantasy Football league with 2 guys from work. We had a draft party last night and everything went wayyyy over my head. So I just drank a bottle of wine and wrote our players names on the board. I managed to get 1 Saint on the team...

And players from the teams I hate most...(Raiders/Steelers)
The guys just keep telling me, "Terri you can't have personal feelings about our draft team."
I just kept drinking wine.

I made this under 400 calorie Pizza today for lunch - It was Amazing.

Last week my BFF Jen came back into town from going off to get married!
We celebrated at the Hard Rock for CK's show last Thursday... Jager Bombs!

Then once we were full of Jager we went to City Target in downtown Seattle and I saw the most wonderus thing this southern girl has ever seen:
An Escalator JUST for your shopping cart!!! Magic.

I also discovered that my husband is a cologne/body spray hoarder:

This doesn't even include whats in the bathroom. He even had the audacity to tell me he ran out of his favorite and needs more. So, like any reasonable woman I decided to go find a new flavor I liked.

I want the white and blue one. University Village Chad... University Village.

and finally to sum up my life... my angel-monkey-lover:

I should have never gotten her... I am going to lose my shit if something ever happens to her. Like really. She needs to get bitten by a vampire because I don't think I can make it in this life without that sweet little furry face breathing on me every night.

That 5%

Life has been crazy busy lately. I had all the big wigs from my company come in this week and what that means is nicer outfits, company lunches and dinners, and a more exhausted than usual Terri.

Thankfully this next week will be a LOT less crazy.
Even though I was super busy this weekend my husband decided to make me go to the movies because we had a Free Large Coke coupon that was expiring (very important not to miss that one) AND he booked a gig at the Hard Rock on Thursday night. Now, I am normally the type of girl that comes home from work, works out, and then showers and gets in bed. I also have Big Brother to watch and I will have you know I gave up BOTH nights Wed. & Thurs. for that man. Ugh Marriage.

In other news...I'm obsessed with Target. I got their Target RedCard which links up to your checking account and automatically draws from it like a check BUT it give you 5% off EVERY SINGLE PURCHASE. I also just discovered that you get free shipping on Target.com which comes in VERY handy with all the weddings I've got coming up. You're all getting stuff from Target. SURPRISE!

Things have also been going amazing in the workout/weight loss front. I'm going to do a full review soon but in the mean time I did my first 2 a day today! I went to the gym with the hubs this morning and did a mile on the treadmill and then practiced my cheer moves while he finished up. Then this afternoon I went to Gold's gym which we are members of until the 31st when our Groupon expires (love those things) and I discovered they replaced all the old ass machines with new Fantastic Touch Screen ones! I ended up doing another mile on the treadmill, 3 miles on the bike, and killed my arms with the weight machines. After I got home and showered the stiffness began.

Thanks for pointing that out Brittany.

Do you watch Big Brother?
I'm obsessed and I think I want Ian to win.

HUGE-Life Changing- NEWS!

If you are my friend on Facebook then you were there when Chad and I let out some exciting news! No, I'm not pregnant. Seriously so tired of that always being the answer everyone is hoping for. While it's sweet it really dampers any other news that we share but I'll let you guys slide this last time... Family I'm talking to you.

It's been in the works now for almost a year and I am SO EXCITED that it has actually worked out! This December (the 11th to be exact) my husband will get to preform his music on a late night talk show called Seven on Ridge in Chicago!

Check out the promo and it will explain this new Late Night Chicago talk show!

As most of you know Chad plays music and has had some amazing opportunities come his way but this is by far the Biggest thing to ever happen. I can't really explain how proud I am of him and how much this means to both of us. Honestly we can't even really wrap our heads around what is happening. Once he got the confirmed date of his appearance they ball got rolling for booking hotel rooms, flights, transportation, etc. However, this time I don't have to do any of it. It's all taken care of by the TV show!
We just keep looking at each other and saying is this really happening?
Well, it is and as unreal as this feels all I can think about is how much he deserves this and seeing him happier than I've ever seen him before just about makes my heart want to explode.

I can't wait to go to Chicago with Chad and experience this milestone with him. Eleven million viewers are going to watch my husband sing on TV... I just am at a loss for words.

If I can give any of you advice it would be to follow your dreams.
I know I hear actual famous people say it all the time - never stop working and going after what you want and it will happen - I really feel this way. Chad has put in over 10 years of HARD work, playing gigs where no one showed up, working 6 days a week and playing shows at night, and moving across the country in hopes of getting more people to hear his music.
Fight for what you want in life and NEVER give up.

More to come on this adventure...
