Found: Bridal Shower Dress

Excuse the silly face... here's the dress!

I've been trying to figure out if I wanted to go with a purple dress or a white dress for my first bridal shower. I had been searching quite unsuccessfully for a dress for the last week when finally yesterday I found it! I'm in love with the colors of this dress and the cut. The detail around the top is incredible and the way it shapes around the chest is very flattering and not too sexy for an evening bridal shower. I saw this picture of myself in this dress and instantly thought I need to be holding a glass of wine in the picture and it would be perfect! I'm so excited about the shower on Saturday, I'd like to just fast forward through this week! I'm also pretty excited to be getting my hair done by the fantastic hair stylist Kerri Welch (At Static A Salon in Madison, MS)! I'm going to try out a new look and color. No it will (Never) not be short, but it will be a new color.

Now, on to this week. Lets try and play nice .. mmmk?

My amazing Shower invite!

I know this may sound really stupid, but I have a really big fear that I'm going to be the loser that has no one show up at her first bridal shower. I'm so excited about it my wonderful friends and sister are throwing it for me and I know its going to be fabulous but for some reason I'm scared no one is going to show up! I'll just be sitting there crying like a wimp because no one likes me. I guess some of my fear stems from the fact that it is going to be an hour & half away from where most of my friends are now. They are throwing it for me at my sisters house which is in the area of where I grew up and is where my childhood friends live. However, I don't get to see these friends often and I'm worried they just won't show. I have a lot of my close friends who I know can't make it either due to the distance or work, so I guess that has bummed me out and made me even more scared that if they can't come then surely no one else will. I know I am being ridiculous but I can't help it! If any of my friends that got an invitation read this I really hope to see you there, or I'll just cry. Hahahha.. no really.

I really can't wait for this shower, its the first REAL event to kick of the reality of this wedding. I'll be happy either way I can just pretend they only invited 15 people if only 15 people come right? Another thing: I am awful at RSVP'ing. I apologize for this because now that I see how excited people get when they know who all is coming to their event. I hear by promise to attend every function I can and RSVP for them promptly for the rest of my life!

Our Wedding Website is now updated. It's crazy that we only have 102 days left until the big day.

My little homie.

My dog is a spoiled little queen. Just like her momma!

She is the prettiest little Pomeranian ever and with all that fur when I give her a bath she shrinks up.

Ever since she was little when its time for her weekly bath she gets in there with me. She is very well behaved and loves being washed. It is so weird that a dog actually enjoys getting bathed but its true. Miss Olive loves getting so fresh and so clean.

The cutest thing ever was when we get out I dry her with a towel but because of all the hair she still is soaking wet. So one day I was blow drying my hair and my little queen came over and I started blow drying her hair. I thought she would just bark and run off but no.. she sat down and loved the feeling of the hot air drying her fur!

I'm really sick right now with a terrible case of Strep Throat and shes just been loving on me for the last two days. Animals really are the sweetest gift.

EARLY!

My wedding dress came in a month & half EARLY!

I'm slightly freaking out.

I get to put it on tomorrow.

I am SO utterly excited.nervous.anxious.scared.inlove.&.flippingout

It's all getting so REAL. So, NEAR.

Only 3 months, & 2 weeks left.

Crazzzzzy.

Lents not Cheesy.. but pizza is.

Whatever you do.. NEVER google pizza when you are hungry.

Thank God I have never seen one of these...

Okay, I must stop.

I will not indulge. Oh, and I guess this is a good time to state my Lent goals. No, I'm not Catholic but this year I have decided to do Lent as a personal goal & in hopes to lose more weight before the wedding!!!

Lent: No Pizza & No booze except for an occasional glass of wine.

The pizza is the main one.

Happy Valentines Day my Loves !

It has been a great day.

I hope that yours has been utterly fabulous & that even if you're single I know you have at least one Valentine that loves you!

For Valentines this year Chad took me on date Saturday night to this really yummy place in town. I had Mahi Mahi for the first time and it was fantastic!

Today I got beautiful purple orchids delivered to me at work along with some really sweet gifts and the best card I have ever gotten. I'm one lucky girl.

Tonight we topped off  Valentines Day with some extreamly special. We went to the gym and Subway!

haha it was perfect because thats just who we are together, oh and we got free cookies at Subway for Valentines. It has really been a stress free holiday filled with goodness.

I feel like my life is a warm oohhy gooyee brownie that moleten chocolate oozes out of the middle.

I hope that everyones day was as sweet as mine.

Oh and on a sour note. Don't be jealous- it makes you extreamly unattractive.

Leg warmers, Heels, & Shopping oh my!

I am so behind the fashion curve on this one... but I have recently fallen in love with legwarmers.

They are fantastic! I've been walking around in my H&M striped ones with black shorts and a tee all night. It is quite possibly the cutest relaxed outfit ever.

I might have to buy them in every color I can find now.

Oh! These are mine ^

I might have to get some and wear them to work... haha

Oh, and when I have a child they can wear them too!

Love this! that jacket is fine.

I recently started tanning again too. I can't wait for summer. Skinnier + Tan = Yes!

I like to forgive.. it's not worth the effort to hold a grudge.

Ouch. I guess we will hit the ground running. I hate my meaness. I can be so mean sometimes and say things that will cut to the bone of another person. I hate that it is so easy for me to destroy another person emotionally and that I even enjoy it a little bit.

Catching up

Wow, this weekend was insane. Between wedding stuff, band stuff, and party's I'm completely worn out. I have so much to post about and it seems no time to do it. Basically I guess I'm just going to post about a lot all at once.

New York!

It was amazing! Walking everywhere in 4ft of snow was more fun that I had ever imagined. It was absolutely beautiful, and people were so nice. I really did go expecting people to be rude but none of it was true. Every single person we encountered was great. The first day we were there we went to Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Serendipity 3 (for our 4 year Anny dinner), and did the NBC tour. We actually saw Jesse Eisenberg and Kenan Thompson rehearsing at NBC for SNL. Serendipity 3 was very yummy but next time I will have to try the chocolate brownie explosion instead of the traditional frozen hot chocolate! haha.

The next day we traveled around Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, NYU, Monks Restaurant, Central Park, Empire State Building, Comedy Show, & the BEST Lesbian Bar ever!!

It was a very short trip packed full of fun adventures & I can't wait to go back again.

I love traveling. I want to see the world.
