Candy Lately

The last week has been an almost blur.

I had 28 things to do every day since last Wednesday and I'm just now slowing down just a second to write a quick blog. Oh who am I kidding, it seems like every time I set out to write a blog it is never quick. Let me just start by saying this year I have gotten the most cookies, candy, and junk that I have ever gotten in my entire life for Christmas. This is a sick sick joke people... I feel like Kate Hudson in Bride Wars getting sent all of the cookie bouquets! What is everyone trying to do to me?

Over the last week all of the following items have ended up in my office as "gifts"





Seriously? Thankfully my coworkers are men and eat as so. I didn't dive toooo deep into this train wreck.

Speaking of last Wednesday that is when we had our office Christmas party at a really nice restaurant in downtown Kirkland. It was amazing! The best Mahi Mahi I have ever had in my life...CK said it was the best steak he has ever eaten and desert was too pretty to not take a picture of:



I just can't say enough how happy and thankful I am for my job and that they feed me yummy food.

I have more to type but I'm sleepy and we are flying out in the morning to go home for Christmas so I need my beauty sleep. I'm already rocking a pimple like a 15 year old. Ugh, that always happens when I want to take tons of pictures of myself. I will however leave you with the funniest thing I have ever seen.
 CK decided to do a Christmas commercial for his new EP.

I'll be gone until the 28th not sure if I will have much time to blog but I'll either be: eating, traveling, hugging people, or unwrapping gifts.


PS. The whole working out 14 days in a row didn't happen because of the last week and the insainess it has been. I did work out 10 out of those 14 days so that is VERY good in my opinion. January 1st it is on like donky kong. 2012 will be full of health and happiness that I do promise!

It's Christmas Time!!! As if you didn't know BUT you know what that means... FOOD FOOD FOOD.

Lately we have been missing some southern cookin' so this weekend I decided to make some Red Beans & Rice and Cornbread!

Then tonight I caved and made our Christmas Candy early. I was going to wait until this weekend but CK already broke into every single item that goes into the White Trash and I already lost 1 bag of peanut M&M's to him so I couldn't risk having to go re-buy Everything again!

Barefoot & Drunk

That was the theme of last nights activities for sure. Last night was amazing..up until the end of the night when CK forgot where he parked his car, my feet hurt so bad after a girl stepped on my foot where I now have a bruise and couldn't walk anymore in my heels, and CK then taking a wrong turn off of I5 again getting us somewhat lost. Let's not spit hairs though..crazy shit always ends up happening to me so I've just learned to blog about it and let everyone else get a little giggle from my random ass luck.

My Friday consisted of a fantastic day at work (other than the fact that I was literally STARVING and got a hunger headache earlier in the day to which I thought I was going to vomit but no worries I shook that shit off like a bad pick up line) and then it was time to have a girls night out! My first in Seattle with my new friends and I was ready. My house was prep central with a hangout and pregame before we headed out to downtown Bellevue to dance out asses off.

I of course got excited and had to prep an appetizer & wet bar extravaganza:

Drinking something that Amber Rose advertises makes me want to vomit BUT that stuff is sweet and lovely.

Then we had to get ready...what to do first you ask? Make sure we don't look like the Cullen's (I mean I did meet these ladies at the tanning bed) we might be in Washington but until I start sucking blood out of peoples necks, I will be golden.

So much fun was had! The first stop was Lucky Strike but it was dead so we headed over to Munch Bar and danced our asses off all night. Five hours of straight cardio is what I'd like to call it; I am so sore I could barely get up and down the stairs today.

Now, for the adventure part of the night.... CK and J met up with us at Lucky Strike last night after one of his gigs and partied the rest of the night with us. So when we got ready to go CK & I headed out to find his car - that's when he realized he didn't remember where he parked it. After searching through the parking garage the girls had parked in CK said, "oh it's the other one..." GREAT. By this time my heels were killing me and my foot hurt after some girl stepped on my while I was dancing. I had to take off my shoes (hello dirty hippie from Mississippi moment) and it was freezing. My ass was in a parking garage and outside in downtown Bellevue walking around barefoot. I was throwing a fit...drunk and pissed I was stomping around yelling, "Where is the car?!" Did I mention Bellevue is Huge with 4 different parking garages? Long story short: it took about and hour to find the car, my feet are black and ripped, and our marriage was tested. Never the less we got home "hugged" it out and decided that CK is no longer allowed to park in parking garages.

I'm in love with Seattle and all my beautiful friends that I have made. I expect many more fun nights to be had! Minus the car losing, barefoot hippie walking, and drunk yelling.

My friends are funny!

I am officially PROUD of myself.

Tonight I completed day #6 of the 17 day straight work out promise, and I feel amazing :)

I also lost 3lbs since I last weighed (a few weeks ago) it's not really like it's a lot or a very big number BUT I am so excited about it. I have eaten lots of yummy things but for the most part I've been doing good and working out and it is slowly coming off and I can't not be happy that I have eaten pizza, oreos, and slutty brownies a lot and STILL have lost 3lbs. Yay! AND it's the freaking holidays! I'll take it!
