It's Friday!!!

Work drives me nuts sometimes.
I HATE HATE HATE when I am talking and/or asking questions and I feel like I’m being ignored.

I BELIEVE in questions.

I am not scared to ask nor discuss something if I have issues. But you see I have a prankster at the office that does this to me ALL THE TIME because he thinks its cute and funny. Kinda like in 8th grade when you had to deal with the dumb ass that just liked to irritate everyone. No sir, it makes me want to stab you. On the other hand-- TOTAL gratification when they are asking me a question and I give an answer. I am right… I know in my soul that I am right but they doubt me. How DARE they.

10 minuets later…. I ask, “Well, was a I right?”

As he is quickly walking by to head to the bathroom I get a, “Yup.”

Photobucket
 Thought so.

In other work related news… Do you know what one of my BIGGEST annoyances is? When I have 10 different screens open on my computer working on 4 different things and I keep clicking the wrong tab or God forbid I pull up the Internet and go to click a link and then something else on the page loads and the link moves RIGHT before I click it. I end up on an advertisement website that freeze my screen for 35 seconds. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG 35 SECONDS IS WHEN YOU DO THAT?!

Photobucket

Anddddd that enough Rage for today because GUESS WHAT!?!?!:

The Lucky One

Wanna know why she's "The Lucky One"

Monday night I had a girls date with Angela and Jen to see "The Lucky One" because none of our significant others wanted anything to do with this movie and we of course had to see it ASAP. After a quick trip to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy the following: 750 thread count sheets, a fancy scale, and a giant 7 cup water bottle we then went to get Jen a TUNA yes, TUNA sandwich to eat at the movies. Of course then we had to discuss how it was always a fun game for her to see what she could get away with sneaking into the movies. Her biggest accomplishment to date is a bowl of soup...That girl has Skillz yo. In short, I didn't smell the tuna, we didn't get kicked out, and I don't even remember what the movie was about or if he even spoke. I can't remember anyones names or what the point of the story was all I know is that I would definitely watch about 15 minuets of this movie again. Think: Straddling.

Well done Zac....well done.

Baby Alert!

No, Not mine!

Foxxxxy's preggers!

I think this baby is going to be sooooo hottttt. Seriously, I'm a fan of each side of that couple and have you heard Foxy gush about how much she loves kids??? I think she's going to be a great Momma. Let the hater's hate. (And yes I'm talking about you Michael Bay)

----------------

Also, SOOOO SOOO SOOOO excited for this next couple:

Giuliana and Bill
I love them and it has been so heartbreaking watching their story unfold. First she can't get preggo, (I honestly think a HUGE part of that was due to her Unhealthy body weight - yes, I'm serious) then she gets Cancer and has to go through surgery, and now finally through a gestational surrogate they will have a baby of their own. I still find it heartbreaking that she won't be able to carry the little one but this in my eyes is the wonderful side of science that can make dreams happen.

It really broke my heart when Snookie got preggo and they were talking about it on the Fashion Police and G said, "I mean really Snookie can get pregnant and I can't?"
It was obvious it was a half hearted try at a joke but it fell flat and everyone just got quite and sad on set.

Broke my heart for her...BUT NOW we can celebrate!

Babies are so exciting...Well, when I don't have to have them.

I can't turn down Free stuff.

This week has been an absolute biatch.

Work has been crazy but at least I got a bunch of overtime to help compensate. Why so crazy you ask? Our big wigs were in town doing our Quarterly Review and that means that we have working lunches and after work events aka dinners. I totally love/hate this time in my life for the following reasons:

LOVE all the free food that comes with these visits.
HATE the fact that I order things I want but do NOT need because I don’t have to pay for it.
LOVE getting to see the big wigs because they are actually REALLY nice.
HATE working lunches where I feel like everyone is watching me eat and judging what I am eating.
LOVE dressing Way up – usually I’m in jeans but sometimes it’s fun to get all work-fancy
(Once every 3 months)
HATE getting home later than usually and feeling mentally depleted from meetings and trainings all damn day.
LOVE going out for work dinners and getting tipsy off of Bikini Martini’s.
HATE not working out all week due to the crazy exhausting schedule.
LOVE that magical time on Friday at 5pm after the crazy busy week.

 In conclusion:
I feel disgusting after all the eating out…I never eat out and boy did I just get excited about it. I can’t turn anything down when its free. I have a problem.

Free foods that were consumed:

Olive Garden Soup and Bread sticks
Brown Bag Café Fish and Chips
(BIG mistake… I Hardly ever eat fried food and this crap was like grease in a box.)
Cheesecake Factory Chicken Di Pana, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake & Bikini Martinis!

Images ripped from Google- hey, I couldn't take pictures of my food in front of my coworkers...

(THE BEST Martini EVER!) I didn't get a lime though...

Romios Pepperoni & Feta pizza.
(AMAZING but wayyyy to greasy)

That’s a bunch of crap. It was mostly yummy but God I feel disgusting.
Starting back to HEALTHY eating NOW and not going out to dinner for awhile. Eating out 4 times in one week is just TOO MUCH for me.
I would be 700lbs if I worked at corporate…I hear they eat out a lot.

She's gonna be a MRS.!!!!

On April 4th 2012 my world forever changed.
My best friend Haley got ENGAGED!

BLING BLING!
If I could tell you one thing about Haley it's that she has always dreamed of her wedding day.
I am SO Happy she finally found someone wonderful to share her life with and someone who will be just as excited for their wedding as she is. It has only been 11 days but the dress has already been bought and the venue is pretty much picked as of today. I told her she might as well get married next month by the way she is planning but they have decided to wait one year.

The BIG DAY will (tentatively) be April 13th, 2013!
That is if the world doesn't end this year.

Just Kidding Haley!
The world is not going to end and your wedding is going to be BEAUTIFUL!

I am so excited to be your MOH and to be there every step of the way like you were for mine.
You deserve all the stars in the sky and all the happiness in the world.

Now, here's my advice to you for enjoying as much of this time as you can:

1. Enjoy being ENGAGED. Take a few days to do nothing (NO PLANNING) but look at each other and enjoy the calm before the storm. He is your Fiance only for a little while then he will be your Husband.

2. Don't worry about what anyone else "thinks" or "wants" for your wedding. Choose what YOU and JOSH want. (Not even my wants count!)

3. Don't get in debt for the wedding. Only do what you and Josh agree on because at the end of the day you will be paying the debt off after the big day is over and you want a Fresh start in a new life not the Stress of bills all at once.

4. Enjoy each step of this process and each decision you make...it's only going to happen ONCE.

5. Feel the love. Your friends and families are going to be showering you with love and attention. Enjoy it. They really mean it and the best thing about getting married is seeing how much everyone really cares for you and is happy for you.

6. Don't kill Josh. You will get in arguments about something during this process. Putting together a wedding is the first Test a couple really has. Don't take it personal when he's off with his friends and you're licking envelopes. Give him tasks and plenty of time to complete them and at the end of the day try and remember that this is supposed to be fun not demanding of you two.

7. Remember that someone is always going to have a different opinion of what you "should" do or how you "should" act. Try not to let it make you angry/sad/annoyed/miserable. Weddings seem to bring out the Best and Worst in people. Don't ever let them bring you down.

8. Do a guest list as soon as possible and plan for at least 20+ extras to be added by the time the big day happens. You will be surprised how quickly those people add up and getting addresses together is a pain in the ass. (Learn how to use Excel like a CHAMP)

9. Make a Wedding Website! It is fun and people will love it.

10. Plan the Honeymoon as soon as possible. Trust me you will be soooo ready for a week away from everyone you had to deal with while planning your wedding and to spend LOTS of Alone time with your new Hubby!

11. Things will go wrong/not happen on the big day. Just go with it. Don't worry about anything that day. It will all work out and be perfect in its own way.
(Even if your MOH get sick and vomits in the middle of your vows)

12. Get a good Videographer. You will want to show your children it and probably anyone else who wants to watch it for the rest of your life.

13. Go to as many Bridal Shows as you can!

14. Most of all... Have fun baby. I love you SO MUCH and if you need anything Remember I am just a phone call/email/text/heytell/facebook post away.

Now, time for some pictures:

Congrats you two!!!

Just Because

I have to share... what my sweet sweet husband just surprised me with:

You see he bought me the K charm for Christmas and I wanted an 18" chain to go with it...He didn't get it at the time (he's a guy) but today he came home told me to close my eyes and hold my hand out. He NEVER does that... I had absolutely no idea.

I thought it was going to be a blizzard from Dairy Queen.

But it was a blue Tiffany & Co. bag!
Heart be still!!

I opened the box and there was my Gold chain I have been yearning for (I've been using an old cheap chain) Can we say BEST SURPRISE EVER!

Or more like...the first time he has really surprised me!
Usually, I know what he's up to.

He's the bee's knees.

Wine&Yoga OH and Scissoring.

Saturday, I woke up at 3 different times throughout the night before to take Ibuprofen, eat crackers, and drink Gatorade in hopes of not being miserably hung over Saturday for yoga and wine tasting afterwards. All in all I am very proud of my efforts because magically I woke up feeling fairly normal…I was very worried I would feel disgusting because honestly I hardly every drink anymore and boy did I outdo myself the night before. Yikes. Anyways, I woke up stretched a little and then got ready to go and meet Angela to ride to the winery. This whole experience happened because she saw a living social deal one a day a few weeks ago that included a 1 hour yoga class at Columbia Winery in Woodinville with a wine tasting right after served with snacks for only $35 bucks. She knows I love anything having to do with wine so we decided to go and enjoy some yoga too!

On the way...How BEAUTIFUL are those trees!?

Angela & I still blissfully ignorant.

The mere thought of drinking was making me want to vomit but I figured a good yoga session would sweat out all the impurities I had consumed the night before so that NEW impurities could be consumed after yoga. We actually thought that the yoga wouldn’t be that serious…not to hard core because hey, probably a lot of people signed up for the wine right? Oh no, Shit got serious and quick…I haven’t done yoga since high school…okay maybe once in college but legit yoga since high school - 10th grade to be exact but I work out, and I “think” I’m pretty capable but holy HELL at how hard yoga is! It is serious people and if I ever hear anyone say yoga isn’t really a good workout I might just slap them or at least show them my bruises on my knees and pride. I worked muscles that never get any attention and I did so many damn planks and downward dogs that even Miss OLIVE was even impressed later when I told her about it. Granted I couldn’t move Sunday or Monday without wanting to die but in general it was AMAZING! I’m going to start doing yoga once a week (thanks to another Groupon deal..I love Groupon/LivingSocial)  to work out all these different parts that I didn’t know I had. It hurt so much but in such a GOOD way. Also, I would like to “toot” my own horn with one move that I am a PRO at especially since I had NO IDEA it was even a yoga move. Heel stretches = my favorite thing ever. I had several people ask me if I was a cheerleader….no I’m just awesome okay?! My bestie said it best when I told her about it…"those are your party tricks” hahaha you see I used to do them all the time when we would hang out at parties just for the fun of it and then break into cheer routines. Why? I have no idea…we are girls and we are silly.
Endofstory.

Yoga...in a wine cellar.

After yoga we got down to the serious business:

During yoga while we were doing 1 out of 7 different “warrior” poses/holds the teacher said something that literally had me falling over laughing. I thought I was going to have to leave… “Scissor your legs ladies” WTF?! Does she even know what that means or refers too?! AM I the only one that has a dirty mind? Will I be going to yoga hell because I couldn’t stop laughing? Not to mention the whole time I’m sweating like a beast and praying no one is smelling Jager coming out of my pours (Angela swears she didn’t smell anything – I’m still working on believing her) Then there it is again… “Scissor your legs ladies! Tighten and hold” WTF!? You can’t say that to me! I can’t control where my mind goes.... sheeeesh!

At then end of yoga comes my favorite time…when you just lay there flat on your back and “relax” and just breath in and out… they fool you with thinking that’s all yoga is...oh no, TRUST ME it’s 59 minuets of pure hell before that “relax time” starts. After yoga I inhaled a bottle of water and then 5 different wine samples, 1 whole glass of my favorite wine, various amounts of cheese, grapes, and flat bread pizzas! It was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend doing one of these “adventures” one day! All of the wine was delicious and the flat bread pizzas that they make on site were OUTSTANDING. We had one that was a sweet fig based pizza with cheese, pears, and pecans which sounds extremely weird right? HELLO, it was AMAZING. Angela and I both agreed that we loved this winery, we loved the yoga, and we loved each other. It was a fantastic Saturday because at 1pm we had worked out and already gotten a buzz. That’s the kind of weekend dreams are made of right there. Can’t I be filthy rich and just do these kinds of things every day?

SOOOO good.

I'm a hot mess and look at Ang being all cute...

Ho.

The day didn’t end there for me though… but I’ll save that for later!

Froyo & Jager

Let me just start this off by saying out much I LOVE 3 day weekends.
I think every weekend should be 3 days, it is the perfect amount of time to rest after 4 days of working… why can’t this happen?
THREE day weekends people VOTE FOR THAT in November.

Anyways, Friday started off magical being that CK and I finally had a day off together for the first time in over a month! I miss getting to hang out with that knucklehead on the weekends since he is always working now. We decided that we would wake up, go to the gym, go to the movies (we finally saw The Hunger Games!), then maybe some shopping, and finally to his show at the Hard Rock for Happy Hour that night. All went as planned except CK has been a little under the weather so he didn’t go to the gym since he had to sing later (but I went!) and we didn’t have time for shopping and instead had our first Froyo bar experience which did not disappoint. I have told CK about Froyo and bloggers for a few months now (to which he tells me he does not remember) and how much I have wanted to go because:
 1. I like trying everything in small amounts
 2. I like to make my own “creations”
 and
 3. I freaking love Froyo.

We walked over to Peaks which was right by the movie theater after watching The Hunger Games (which did not disappoint it was heartbreaking wonderful and I may even like Peeta a little more now) and once inside CK got really confused. I swear this place didn’t really have signs either and if he would have gone in without me he would have probably just left or gotten $65.00 worth of Froyo. In any case once I figured out where to start the fun began. CK has a PROBLEM with sweets and the sheer SIZE of the buckets you had to choose from where awful! Their “small” bucket was better than a PINT… HUGE. Of course CK had to fill his up… and the whole time I’m like you have to pay for the weight of it…. Meanwhile he keeps loading on chocolate chips and strawberries and eating some every once in awhile and I’m like “You’re Stealing stop eating!” I’m thinking that by the time we go to pay its going to be over $20.00… but I was pleasantly surprised! Only $9.96 for both.

I tried out Pistachio, Cheesecake, and Red Velvet Froyo with a variety of toppings.

Meanwhile the beast got Chocolate and Strawberry Froyo with God knows what.

All in all it was pretty good but I want to see what other stores have to offer us. So now, we plan to hit these up every time we see one because I have finally gotten CK on board with the program!

What happens next is all Nicks fault. I blame him for everything.
We had to leave Peaks and head to downtown Seattle for CK’s Hard Rock as soon as we got finished because he has to be playing from 5pm-8pm during happy hour. Now, since it is now Spring and beautiful outside in Sunny Seattle (yes, I’m going there…it doesn’t rain nearly as much as everyone in the freaking world that has never even been here thinks) happy hour is now at the rooftop bar! It overlooks Pikes Place and the sound and is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

The bar was so crowded that for a few moments Jared, Nick, and myself had to stand because there were no open seats. (luckily this changed after about 5 minutes) After we settled in Nick wanted to do shots of jager and that’s where everything went downhill. I don’t know what got into me but I agreed and to make a long story short: I made several new friends, got extremely inebriated, almost broke my phone, and this was all before 8pm.
Jared & the bad influence.

CK doing his thing

Once the show was over our party minus Jared (because of stupid work boo!) and plus a new friend (Jen I think is her name??) moved to another bar where I danced in a booth and was told I could only have water to drink. Well, ladies and gents that’s the ONLY thing I wanted in the first place so Nah. I do have to say that this might be the KEY to getting quick service at this bar… I have NEVER gotten water and food as quickly as I did that night. (Note to self) I don’t really recall that much after well, leaving the Hard Rock but from what I am told it was a pretty fun night. I blame Nick with everything in my soul because I never take shots especially of Jager and it’s just simply all his fault.  This all lead to a very interesting morning…. I had a yoga and wine tasting date at 11am the next day with my girl Angela… ehh... I bet you can only imagine how prepared I was for that.

Little B*tch.

After my first "grown up experience" of buying something from the deli counter at the grocery store I come home and my arms are so full of heavy bags that the straps were cutting into my skin and leaving marks. Once I make it up the stairs to our apartment I set the groceries down in the kitchen and then it's time to take Miss Olive outside so she can go do her biznass because she won't stop barking until I do. Well, she peed... she made a new friend...and she peed some more but no #2.

At this point I have to go back upstairs to put said groceries up before they sour on my counter so, back to the apartment we go. Within in ONE AND A HALF minutes of being back in the apartment this happened:

Really...

You LITTLE B*TCH.

--------------------------------------------------------------

PS. Did you know that JLo's boy toy Casper used to dance wearing this?

Oh, and Hollywood has officially created the biggest ASSHOLE of a couple Ever.

Really?
Kim I really have been trying to like you and you go and do this?
I don't think I ever want to see either one of them again.
SO GROSS.

OH! and the dumbest woman of the decade award goes to:

I get it... you can't help it. You're obviously a very abused woman emotionally and physically and you can't seek the help that you need to realize that you NEVER go back.

The example she is setting for women is horrible.
YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN THAT.
YOU DESERVE MORE.
STOP SETTLING.

Nothing about this says love.

End of Rant

WTF?! Nickelback!

After being sick all weekend in the most disturbing of ways I am finally feeling back to normal. In short I had the WORST period of my life. WTF?! Ovaries I think they were literally trying to kill me and make sure that I realize I am not ready to go through child birth any time soon.
(I don’t understand how in the HELL do you WOMEN do THAT?)

Monday I started eating right again (like really right – how I was eating when I lost weight before) and so far that’s been going great! I’ve been using the MyFitnessPal AP to keep up with calories and workouts (I’ve been honest) and I feel better…other than one thing… WTF is the deal with when you eat healthy you are always hungry!? I seriously eat 7 small meals a day …snacking on carrots, bananas, apples, etc all day long. My meals are well rounded but because they are so healthy they never keep me full for long. When I think about it I guess that is the way it is supposed to be and I get lazy with having to eat all the time that I like eating less times and feeling fuller… but that just doesn’t work for me when trying to lose weight and leads me to eating a shit ton at night - which is a big No No.

I love bananas and peanut butter!

I also have realized something else about myself this past week. I can’t complete long term goals. I suck at life and I don’t know WTF my problem is but its just the TRUTH and I’ve got to admit it. Remember my 28 day Challenge? Well that turned into a 16 day accomplishment. I got sick and got bored with it but it did teach me a lesson: I can do two week goals and that’s what I’m going to start doing instead of beating myself up about never accomplishing a bigger task. I will celebrate small victories. I am going to start up another 14 day challenge this Saturday too – I’ll explain later…

Last night was Taco Tuesday at the bar and CK and some of our friends decided it was time to feast on $1 tacos and cold beer. I actually went to the gym before we went to the bar and I ended up wearing my workout crops tucked into my Uggs with no shame. I was paranoid I stunk but no one said anything…so unless they are all just being nice I think the 40oz of body splash I put on worked. You’re probably wondering, “Terri where is the WTF moment” well, here it goes. I ended up making some new friends at the bar that wanted me to help them pick out songs on the Jukebox player thing and then they proceeded to put $20.00 in the damn thing. WTF?! $20.00 do you know how many credits that was?! I helped “L” as we will call her for about 15 minutes choosing different songs… but there were issues. She’s trashed and I’m trying to figure out what songs she wants me to play because she paid for it after all but then she said she hates Reggae and Jazz music and her favorite is Nickelback.

WTF?! NICKELBACK.
hahah Thank you Google.

Shoot me in the GD face please. I let her play 3 stupid Nickelback songs then she bounced off with 11 credits still in the damn machine. I ended up picking all reggae and some new Madonna with the rest while thinking the whole time, “how do I get myself in these situations?” I am too damn nice. After I rejoined my group they all were laughing because they heard me say, “Nickelback?! Omg you’re Crazy” to the girl and then the Nickelback song Came on and L and her date started dancing to it. I’m sorry… I know I’m a bitch but WTF?! Kill me.

Then this morning I came into work dressed up in heels and a skirt (normally I wear jeans and boots) because all my jeans are dirty and the one pair that is clean is freshly washed and I just didn’t feel like getting in them when they are super tight then take 5 mins to stretch them out and get them comfy… It was just not appealing at all after last night.
Instead, since it is warmer outside I am breaking out my nice skirts and heels to which shocked the guys I work with this morning into both of them looking at me confused, one saying I looked hot and the other saying, “That’s what’s wrong with all you southern girls never wearing any pants…getting in trouble”  WTF?! First off both of them are like brothers so it’s all in good fun and I absolutely love them but seriously I almost pee’d in my pants when he said that about “southern girls” I simply told him in the south it is just TOO DAMN HOT to wear pants much less anything else. Ever.

CK also bought these little suckers from Target the other day:

WTF!? Why have I never tired these before?
Dude Japanese/Chinese candy is where it is at! Go get you some YanYans Right now... its like cracker stick and icing but different.. I can't explain it just go. GO.

Oh, and just ONE more Nickelback picture.... hehe

lol Sorry if any of you like Nickelback... but you know it's still funny.
