She's gonna be a MRS.!!!!

On April 4th 2012 my world forever changed.
My best friend Haley got ENGAGED!

BLING BLING!
If I could tell you one thing about Haley it's that she has always dreamed of her wedding day.
I am SO Happy she finally found someone wonderful to share her life with and someone who will be just as excited for their wedding as she is. It has only been 11 days but the dress has already been bought and the venue is pretty much picked as of today. I told her she might as well get married next month by the way she is planning but they have decided to wait one year.

The BIG DAY will (tentatively) be April 13th, 2013!
That is if the world doesn't end this year.

Just Kidding Haley!
The world is not going to end and your wedding is going to be BEAUTIFUL!

I am so excited to be your MOH and to be there every step of the way like you were for mine.
You deserve all the stars in the sky and all the happiness in the world.

Now, here's my advice to you for enjoying as much of this time as you can:

1. Enjoy being ENGAGED. Take a few days to do nothing (NO PLANNING) but look at each other and enjoy the calm before the storm. He is your Fiance only for a little while then he will be your Husband.

2. Don't worry about what anyone else "thinks" or "wants" for your wedding. Choose what YOU and JOSH want. (Not even my wants count!)

3. Don't get in debt for the wedding. Only do what you and Josh agree on because at the end of the day you will be paying the debt off after the big day is over and you want a Fresh start in a new life not the Stress of bills all at once.

4. Enjoy each step of this process and each decision you make...it's only going to happen ONCE.

5. Feel the love. Your friends and families are going to be showering you with love and attention. Enjoy it. They really mean it and the best thing about getting married is seeing how much everyone really cares for you and is happy for you.

6. Don't kill Josh. You will get in arguments about something during this process. Putting together a wedding is the first Test a couple really has. Don't take it personal when he's off with his friends and you're licking envelopes. Give him tasks and plenty of time to complete them and at the end of the day try and remember that this is supposed to be fun not demanding of you two.

7. Remember that someone is always going to have a different opinion of what you "should" do or how you "should" act. Try not to let it make you angry/sad/annoyed/miserable. Weddings seem to bring out the Best and Worst in people. Don't ever let them bring you down.

8. Do a guest list as soon as possible and plan for at least 20+ extras to be added by the time the big day happens. You will be surprised how quickly those people add up and getting addresses together is a pain in the ass. (Learn how to use Excel like a CHAMP)

9. Make a Wedding Website! It is fun and people will love it.

10. Plan the Honeymoon as soon as possible. Trust me you will be soooo ready for a week away from everyone you had to deal with while planning your wedding and to spend LOTS of Alone time with your new Hubby!

11. Things will go wrong/not happen on the big day. Just go with it. Don't worry about anything that day. It will all work out and be perfect in its own way.
(Even if your MOH get sick and vomits in the middle of your vows)

12. Get a good Videographer. You will want to show your children it and probably anyone else who wants to watch it for the rest of your life.

13. Go to as many Bridal Shows as you can!

14. Most of all... Have fun baby. I love you SO MUCH and if you need anything Remember I am just a phone call/email/text/heytell/facebook post away.

Now, time for some pictures:

Congrats you two!!!

WTF Wednesday!?

Lets be silly today and do a WTF Wednesday! I totally stole this idea from one of my Favorite Bloggers RunningOffTheReeses Cely. I love her...I realllllly want her to be my friend but we live to far away and she lives in that state that I hate Texas..oh such is life.

At work the other day I sent BFF Haley (thecrappyblogger) this gem of a picture:

She responds with this:
I love her.
She is my other "other" half. If it was legal to marry more than one person AND gay marriage was legal in Mississippi then we would be married and be a wayyyy hotter version of this:

Plus throw Josh in soooo we would really be more like Polyamory...and we could all get shirts with this on it:

After we had that conversation I realized something Tragic and thanks to Internet my fears were confirmed.

There are NO O'Charley's on this entire side of the country. It's not that tragic but damn sometimes I miss those rolls and those loaded smashed potatoes. Haley and I have so many memories from High school with that place. Maybe I should open one. "DA OC"

I'm getting extremely PUMPED for one of my awesome friends weddings in November! CK and I just booked tickets so it's in stone AND we get to BOTH be in the wedding. Maybe we can be precious and walk together! I'm sure we will since both Nicole (the BRIDE) and Harvey (the GROOM) where in our wedding last June and we had them walk together (Nicole threatened my life if they didn't get to):

Check them out:
Hotties.

AND I think Nicole decided on what I will be wearing today:

It has Pockets! I'm totally pumped.

GUESS WHO IS BACK!!!

OMG. Fiona Apple, Never make me wait this long again before you release another CD!
PS.Iloveyou.

On Tuesday I walked out my front door to this:

WTF?! It was like 50 the day before and beautiful.
Thankfully it all melted away and has been beautiful and warm ever since.

CK also text/picture messaged me today and said, "check out my meat"....

I got really excited before I looked at the picture but it wasn't what I thought... such is life.

The GREAT news is though that after a month of looking for a full time butcher job he got the one of his dreams. Working for Bill the Butcher which is like a small ole time Butcher shop and it deals in only the best organic grass fed beef. He loves it and I love the paycheck. Between this and the music I finally feel like our life is settling in in Seattle. We are so happy...I literally sh*t rainbows now.

I can't believe we didn't buy anthing.

This past weekend was a wild ride. It will be a 3 part blog kind of a story & here is Part 1:

Work blows, so Friday was a tough one but I was excited to be heading to Jackson to see my family and friends. The drive there however, always blows. It's not to terribly of a long trip (about 2 hours) but annoying none the less. I didn't get into town until late and had an emotional exhaustion breakdown in front of my Gran who forced me to eat and watch old movies. I love that woman, she is so much fun and not a typical Grandmother at all.

The next day we had to go shopping. I thought that I was the one who needed to go shopping being that I needed to find about 3 outfits for our engagement pictures THIS coming Sunday and I need to get tons of little things for the wedding... like really: garter belts, cute underwear, shoes, jewelry, hair clips, who has time for all this!? Needless to say I was mistaken and this was not a Terri shopping trip this was a we have to find mom a mother of the bride dress like... NOW.

I think this may have been our first shopping trip together. Ever. In my entire life, with this group of women. Hilarious.

My sister Dawn, Me,  My Mom Sharon, & My Gran Mazie.

My Niece & I

Mazie taught me how to pose in case you were wondering.

-------------------------------
The shopping trip was useless. Other than the fabulous time I had with my family, finding out what size Calvin Klein Shoes I wear, & the possible finding of my rehearsal dinner dress the day included no purchases. Nothing was accomplished & Sharon still doesn't have a dress. How is it possible that 5 women went shopping and didn't buy anything.

After the unsuccessful shopping trip and a yummy lunch at Majestic Burgers (I had the turkey burger on whole wheat with feta cheese & Fry's) I had to do some TOP SECRET Bridesmaid gift stuff. I'm definitely going to blog about the expierence after the wedding because it was a ton of fun! I simply can't blog about it right now because they would all find out and what fun would that be!?
Shout out: to Mazie & Sharon for the help!

Then it was PART 1 of my moms wedding gift from Chad & I.
HAIR MAKEOVER:

My mom is a beautiful lady but she needed a freshen up. I love my mom and I have an amazingly talented friend that owns an upscale hair salon in Madison, MS. STATIC A SALON (Facebook Page) Kerri is a one of a kind person who spent her Sunday off doing my moms hair, my hair, & our friend Meredith's hair. She is amazing and I'm so lucky to call her one of my best friends. Shes one of my Matrons of Honor at our wedding (one of the reasons I can't blog about her present) and has been putting up with me since we were 16.

Anyways, back to my mother's makeover:

Before:

After:

BAM! Hott Mommmmma in the House!
"Hide ya kids, Hide ya husbands, Hide ya wife!"

The second part of her gift comes Wednesday. She will finish her hair makeover with a straightening treatment that Kerri will do for her. I have no idea what it is called... Call Kerri to find out! Mom will also be getting a makeover & all new makeup done by Miss. Haley Skeen (My Maid of Honor) at Sephora in Flowood. I love spoiling that woman, I just wish I could do even more. Oh, and I swear they arn't just my friends because they do Hair & Makeup... hehe

-------------------------------------

I have SO much more to blog about the past weekend so be on the look out. The next part of the story is coming soon to a bloggerspace near you.

WORKOUT: 20mins on treadmill (1.3 miles) 10 mins on bike (.70mile) Monkey bars & arms workout.

I sucked big time today at the gym, but hey at least I went. The FI & I have the 5k coming up on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out why my leg has been sore for the last week. It's been tight and sore on my left leg in the theigh area. I've been trying hard to streach it out but I'm starting to worry I might need to lay off for more than 2 days to get it to go away. Which I really don't want to do. Hopefully, after a good night sleep tonight I'll feel better tomorrow.
