Freaking Friday.

I can't believe it is Friday December 19th. This day is a big deal for several reasons:

1. It's my Mothers birthday! Happy Birthday Mom - I love you!!! 
2. It's my LAST day of "working for the man" and Saturday I'll be officially self-employed.
3. The movers are coming-- the movers are coming! (This weekend) 

I've sorta been running around with my head cut off the last two days getting everything ready. I've also been working out like a crazy person because I'm sad about leaving and I want to eat cookies next week. I did a double both Monday and Tuesday night along with a MMAXOUT class on Thursday so I'd say it's been a damn good week. I also keep walking into stores and thinking, "This is the last time I'm going to be at this Trader Joes possibly for the rest of my ENTIRE life." CRAZY.

BUT I'm also really excited to get home. I can't wait to start the next chapter in our life! Things are really good right now and I'm really looking forward to enjoying some time off with my husband. Although, I have to say that I'm even MORE excited about starting a business with him. Big things ahead for us!

Before all that happens though we've got a tour to do. We are starting our eleven day road trip/tour the day after Christmas and while I plan on blogging along the way - please forgive me for sporadic postings.

In other news this week - did you know that FAT leaves your body by breathing it out!?! I am blown away at this and I can't believe no one told me sooner. I spent all last night in MAXXOUT making SURE I was taking deep breaths in and deep breaths out. If that's all it takes I'll be the girl in the back of the room sounding like she's in labor. WHATEVER IT TAKES YO.

Oh and my friend took her dog to the groomer this week and this wouldn't usually be news worthy but apparently her dog is crazy and has to be stabilized to get her feet trimmed...

Hahahahahaha I can't stop laughing at this. I love that dog. Terra and I actually met at the dog park one random day a few years ago in Washington and now we are best friends. I'm going to miss these two but I'm pretty sure I can convince them to come visit Mississippi. I'm pretty bossy.

After my first "grown up experience" of buying something from the deli counter at the grocery store I come home and my arms are so full of heavy bags that the straps were cutting into my skin and leaving marks. Once I make it up the stairs to our apartment I set the groceries down in the kitchen and then it's time to take Miss Olive outside so she can go do her biznass because she won't stop barking until I do. Well, she peed... she made a new friend...and she peed some more but no #2.

At this point I have to go back upstairs to put said groceries up before they sour on my counter so, back to the apartment we go. Within in ONE AND A HALF minutes of being back in the apartment this happened:

Ode to Olive

When ones dog is a bigger prima donna than their owner this occurs...

I'm in love with my dog even though she trys to eat my food and pees on my floor. She's a fluffly little monster. 

How can you not love that little face?

My little homie.

My dog is a spoiled little queen. Just like her momma!

She is the prettiest little Pomeranian ever and with all that fur when I give her a bath she shrinks up.

Ever since she was little when its time for her weekly bath she gets in there with me. She is very well behaved and loves being washed. It is so weird that a dog actually enjoys getting bathed but its true. Miss Olive loves getting so fresh and so clean.

The cutest thing ever was when we get out I dry her with a towel but because of all the hair she still is soaking wet. So one day I was blow drying my hair and my little queen came over and I started blow drying her hair. I thought she would just bark and run off but no.. she sat down and loved the feeling of the hot air drying her fur!

I'm really sick right now with a terrible case of Strep Throat and shes just been loving on me for the last two days. Animals really are the sweetest gift.

1. Saving Money!

I love expensive things but I am pretty good at getting deals. When Chad & I first started dating he didn't believe me but I always end up getting stuff at a discount or for free. Granted this most of the time had to do with eating out but hey, if its free it's FREE!

I'm also ADDICTED to coupons. I might become one of those crazy coupon lady's one day and you know what that's fine with me because they save a ton of money in exchange for some effort.

The best part about saving money is sharing the acquired knowledge with others.

 Here is a quick list of things I get for free or really good deals on all the time:

Mypoints is Fabulous & it's Easy! I suggest to create an extra email account just for mypoints because the way this site works is you get points for opening emails that they send you. These advertisers send you emails based on what you say you like in your profile on mypoints - I suggest like EVERYTHING that way you get more emails and can get tons of points. That's it. you don't ever have to spend a penny, or take any surveys (however if you do through their site you will get MORE points!) Chad, my fiance started doing this after I made him when we started dating. It took him a year but he didn't do anything but click on these emails once a week and collect the points & then he got a $50.00 gas card from Shell mailed to him as a reward! 

The best part is you get to CHOOSE your gift cards to get in the mail & I can assure you that they come within 4-6 weeks ready to use!

Everyone and their mom I think watchced this on Lifetime tonight. It is terrifying and insainly interesting that people can have secret lives. I'm always afraid Chad will turn out to be a killer because hes just a little too perfect ya know. I feel so sorry for that girl but really how could you blame yourself for not seeing evil in someone. I don't think it's normal for people to see that kind of evil in someone, there aren't signs you look for. Crazy is Crazy.. and crazy will convince you of anything. So, if Chad ends up being a crazy remind me I said that I can't blame myself for not seeing it before I married him. :)
