Happy Friday! I'm a happy girl today and I'm ready for the weekend. This week has been full of ups and downs but surprisingly I shook it all off and have been enjoying the good news. Well, I guess it's not good news yet but the possibility of GREAT news has me giddy with excitement. I refuse to pay attention to the unexpected $450 bucks I had to shell out for my car on Tuesday... I mean really. Car maintenance = stupid. I could have bought a new purse for that! Anyways, to close out a good week here are a few randomly awesome articles:

2.  10 True Crime Documentaries that will give you nightmares
Because I'm obsessed with Documentaries and serial killers. I've only seen the Paradise Lost ones from this list so now I have 9 new ones to scare myself with!

I mean... I only knew one thing from this list!

This makes me calling my period week "Shark Week" even more valid. 

 Now, I want to know who gave it the name because you KNOW it was a MAN.

4.  Impossibly cool gifts you should spend your money on this year. 

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??!? Someone please spend $275 on a replica of little Olive for me. There is A LOT of cool stuff on that list too - not all 275 bucks either. Check it out!


5.  29 Old People Rocking Highly Inappropriate T-Shirts. 

Okay, I wasn't either and then I Googled it. GROSS! Haha these kinda make me excited to get old. I'm going to wear the most inappropriate t-shirts I can find!

1. The perfect Black Dress

I have several black dresses at any given time. You always need at least one though as a go to. Not to slutty, not to formal, not to casual, but justtttt right.

 

2. A nice purse.

I think every girl should have at least one fancy purse. It just makes you feel good.

Fear and Shopping Online

Day 6: Something you're afraid of.

 

 

Loosing Chad. Honestly when I asked myself that question it's the first thing that popped into my head. I cannot imagine going from seeing him everyday and being apart of every single choice I make to have him vanish. I don't want to talk about it anymore!! To Sad... moving on.

 

I've been doing a little shopping lately!

I got these pretty baubles from a Groupon Goods deal:

Sadly this deal is expired but they change their deals daily and there is a super awesome App for it but be careful I've been known to spend hundreds of dollars laying in bed. Oops. I've also got these earrings on order and I can't wait to see them in person:

I wanted the Emerald ones but they were sold out and I couldn't NOT get a pair of these. I absolutely love the teardrop style and who can resist Swarovski Spectra crystals? Not me! This Groupon deal is gone now too but you can get the full priced ones here: PS. They ARE on sale on the website Groupon still had the better deal with Free shipping and they were only $29

 

Then last weekend we went shopping and I happened upon an Old Navy which is pretty hit or miss for me; however, luck was on my side and I found a blue jean button up in the perfect dark denim that I've been searching for forever!

I wouldn't ever wear it with light denim jeans though.

 

Then I picked up a few sheer-chiffon shell button ups:  

I got this navy color, a pretty coral one, & a dark purple one. Hey, I'm a firm believer in if you find something that fits good and looks good buy it in every color. I know I picked a good item when I get compliments on it which is exactly what happened when I wore the blue one to work on Monday. I maybe going back this weekend to buy more...in all the other colors. PS. They aren't on sale online but I got them for $19 each in the store instead of the $29 online!

 

Then the one I let get away... it wasn't on sale and I didn't want to pay $30 for it but that color is amazing and if I can't find it in the button up one I may just have to buy this shirt. Once I do I will take a picture of me in it so you can see what it does to my eyes. This is my color and I should buy everything in it... but I will need to get a tan.

 

I don't know why these shirts look so bad on the models either... they are much cuter on me. I'll prove it eventually.

I call it Funky Munky Bread

Before the Oven

After the Oven! Yummmmm

Super Easy and Super fating.. but I swear I'm making CK eat most of it...

Ingredients:

Pillsbury Biscuits

Cinnamon

Sugar

Dark Chocolate Chips

Chopped Pecans

Directions:

Tear biscuits up into bite sized chunks

Pour 1/2 cup of sugar and lots of Cinnamon in a plastic bag

Put chunks a few at a time in said bag and Shake it like a Polaroid picture

Place sugar/cinnamon chunks in pie dish

Pour chocolate chips and chopped pecans on top

Bake in oven at 350 for 12 mins or so

Now, I've got to start running again at least 2 times by Sunday because I have the Jingle Bell 5k coming up Dec. 11th and I've been having an affair with that damn cross trainer and haven't touched the tredmill in 2 weeks. Shameful I know. I'm coming back baby... I swear.
