Day 26: Where have you been?
I've been a lot of different places and I love to travel. Some of my favorite places were: Maui, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Chicago, Vegas, Seattle, Miami, & Texas... just kidding I hate Texas.

1. I've never been skinny and I really would like to be at least once in my life.

2. I'm a horrible speller.

3. I have a new love of Yoga... like, I'm totally addicted.

4. I love getting things for FREE via coupons and discounts but I will spend a $1,000 on something crazy like a camera or purse in a heartbeat.

5. If my dog dies I'm going to lose my shit... seriously.

6. Today I am super homesick for my family and friends... like all I want to do is be able to drive to their house and bake cookies with them.

7. I married the greatest man alive. Sorry ladies.

8. I love my job but I really wish I didn't have to work.

9. When people talk about missing High School I just feel bad for them that their lives never got any better... I mean it was fun but I don't miss those small minds and gossipy small towns.

10. I think my friends are the best people in the world.

11. I want my future children to never worry about their parents getting a divorce and get the childhood that Chad and I didn't.

12. I'm obsessed with pizza and anytime we travel somewhere new I have to try out the local joint.

The Walking Dead

So, I have to explain myself first. I hate zombies. They are awful things and for my entire life I swore to never watch a zombie show/movie. However, after 2 years of begging I finally gave into my husband and watched a little show called "The Walking Dead." Much to my amazement I fell in love with it and now all I care about are Sunday nights. Why is this show so good?! Why can't they put out 2 episodes every Sunday like Bravo does with the Real Housewives shows. I NEED MORE. I NEED it all the time! So, Monday through Saturday I find myself watching reruns and googling images... which brings me to the reason for this post.

Bad Habits on Valentine's Day

Day 18: Bad habits.

 

Oh those, I have quite a few.... lets just get started:

 

1. I eat way to much bad food.

2. I'm pretty mean to people I love sometimes.

3. I get very irritated at my husband for the dumbest things. I can't help it but I'm working on it.

4. I always leave my empty cups everywhere much to Chad's dismay.

I need your opinion

Day 17: Something you're looking forward to.

I'm really looking forward to all of the trips we have coming up. We go home to MS for my best friends Wedding in April, San Juan Islands in May, Vegas in June, LA in July, Canada, and a few other road trips we haven't set in stone yet. Basically anytime I don't have to work, not that I hate working but damnit I was made for a life of leisure.

Now, I need your help. I have been trying to decide what purse I want to buy as a promotion gift to myself since I got promoted back in October. I fell in love with a Michael Kors purse last October but I couldn't make up my mind and by the time I went back to buy it, it was gone. Then I decided I wanted a Chanel purse but those suckers are hard to price online and I still haven't made my way to the Chanel store in downtown Seattle to find out how much the one I want is. It will probably be $1500.00 and well even I am not that crazy. I mean I could buy it...but I could do so much more with that money that I just refuse.

 

Now, while shopping my heart out on Saturday with Terra & Brittany I ran across this Michael Kors and kinda sorta fell in love:

I've had my mind set on a Black purse...one that I can wear with everything and that will be my new signature bag; however, this camel colored one is really growing on me. It would look fabulous with any color clothing and it has amazing storage compartments when you open it up.

This little sucker does go on sale in May but what if it's not there in May?! I don't know what to do... Oh and they also have it in Black. Now, I'm really undecided... please give me your opinion. Should I add this new beauty to my family?

Oh good news... I just found it for $100.00 less on Amazon in BLACK.

 Do I want it in black though? HELP!

I've had a lot of jobs...

Day 12: Worst job you've ever had.

 

I've had several questionable jobs... I'm probably about to sound like a stuck up brat but whatever, the question was asked. First off I have to be kinda honest here... I have had a lot of different jobs in my life. I counted one time a few years ago and the number was over 15 different ones. I have no idea why; I just got bored when I was younger and decided to do a lot of different things. Let me count which ones I can remember... let's start at the beginning:

1. Boteler's Decorative Concrete - My families business that I always worked at from the time I was born until they sold it when I was 18.
2. El Dorado Steak House - That one sucked I was a 15 year old bus girl.
3. Mi Casita - A 15 year old waitress at the dumbest Mexican restaurant in town.
4. A Party store I can't remember the name of that lasted 2 days.
5. McAlisters Deli - That was a fun job for a teenager & I met my best friend there.
6. Dominoes Pizza- ONE OF THE WORST I worked there for 1 shift. Couldn't even handle the weird people OR the fact that I would have gained 700lbs from eating all the free pizza. This one was for my health people...I just couldn't do it!
7. Nagoya - A yummy sushi bar that was also pretty fun to work at.
8. USM Dorms - checking in guests at the girls dorm
9. Diffata's market - ONE OF THE WORST. The owner was a train wreck and I remember missing a spring break trip because I had to work and then I ended up quitting 2 weeks later.
10. Bath and Body Works - I loved this one... such a fun place to work. Except the floor sets, I hated doing those AND all the damn boxes. I'd get so many paper cuts.
11. Cracker Barrel- this was a pretty bad one too. The main reason I hated it was due to the uniforms. I felt so damn ugly in a mans button down, khakis, Timberland boots, and a brown apron that all I wanted to do was hide.
12. The Popcorn Place - I helped out one Christmas at Chad's Grandparents place... that was a really fun time and I'm so happy I got to experience it before they closed it down the next year.
13. BancorpSouth- ONE OF THE WORST jobs due to the management I had at my particular spot. The boss was an emotional, jealous, crazy train wreck and I was not dealing with that crap. Also, I was in school full time and just couldn't do the full time working too.
14. The Computer Labs at USM - So fun... loved all my University jobs.
15. Campus Operator at USM - Another really fun/easy school job with an amazing manager.
16. MDES - Unemployment Claims officer... My first post college "big girl" job. It was a great experience and I worked there until I was transferred to a better/different job with another state agency that was closer to my apartment at the time.
17. MDES- WIN JOB CENTER MS Steps coordinator. I loved this job... I would have never left it but I was on a federal temporary program that didn't get extended and there weren't any other openings. I learned so much working there and it was one of the BEST experiences of my life.
18. Southern Beverage - Oh this job... it was fun and I worked with a few really great people. Then there were days I felt like I was in a mental institute dealing with dumb boys that thought just because I was a woman I was stupid. Oh, that place got my blood boiling sometimes.
19. Seattle Sun Tan - This was my first job that I got out of the blue right after we moved to Seattle. It was a lot of fun but it was when I was working there that I realized I'm way to old to be dealing with high school drama/crap. I had to get back into a career job that fed my interests and challenged me mentally.
20. PEI - Hands down the best job I have ever had! I am so happy and fulfilled with my current job that if I have it my way I will never leave. I wish everyone could be as happy with their jobs as I am now. It's out there people you obviously just have to have 19 other jobs before you find it. HA!

Make up bag, wallet, gloves, business cards, old plane & movie tickets, and some glow stick lights for your fingers. What... you never know when it's time for a dance party.

I think Pinterest actually got one right...

I'm on week 4 and I am just now starting to notice a difference. I can't wait to see what 4 more weeks of yoga, body works, swimming, and running can do for me. Eating is still a struggle. Basically I just suck at portion control and I want to eat like a sumo wrestler all the time but I'm doing a better.
