Vegas... go home you're drunk.

Our final day in Vegas we were already exhausted. There were so many things I wanted to show Chad but we both could barely walk and the only thing on our minds was a pool day. We woke up, got some breakfast at the buffet which was highly disappointing. When I was little I remember the buffets being AMAZING. Well, sadly the one at MGM was a let down both times we went for breakfast and for dinner. That was another $100 that went down the drain but hey... when in Vegas.

Anyways, after breakfast we headed to the pool. I was NOT let down there. It was just as big and fantastic as I was expecting and we headed straight to the lazy river. It was a million degrees that day and since it was our last day we decided to get a refill on our 100oz's and play all day at the pool.

Well, you know how when you're outside and you're in a pool and you're drinking that you just never feel drunk. We made that mistake. Let me explain: While floating around the pool we made a few friends. The first group of friends were from Cali and every time they saw us with the big jug of drink they'd be all like, "WHY ISN'T IT FINISHED YET!?" Never one to let down a challenge we drank that first 100oz really quickly. Not to mention extra shots that somehow made their way into our hands. After we finished the drink we still were not done with the pool yet and we were still thirsty. So, off CK went to get a refill. BAD IDEA. Once he came back we started working on our second 100oz pina colada. All I kept thinking was I wonder just how many calories I was sucking down. I swear it probably had over 4000 in it. Anyways, we drank it so now we are 200oz. Then we met more friends this time from Canada and they invited us to their super swanky cabana thing.

After we were done with the river we decided to get out and go hang out with them. It was at this point when I realized I wasn't feeling all that well. We got over to the cabana sat down and they had all this booze and food. I really didn't think I could drink anymore but my new friend was telling me about this drink called the George Clooney. I was like okay just a little bit... then I saw a chicken strip. I was like Chad I need that chicken strip. Our friends had gone somewhere so he reached over and got it. At some point I forgot that they had said it was okay for me to have it and I got all nervous and tried to eat it really fast. It was the best chicken strip of my life at that point but it was huge and I couldn't finish it all. I gave it to CK to eat but the next thing I know he throws it across the cabana and it lands in a tiny cup of honey mustard. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen but I was so confused as to why he did that. Then I told him I had to go to the room. I needed to pass out and it wasn't negotiable. We said bye to our friends (all the while I'm fearing I'm going to get yelled at for the chicken finger fiasco) and I don't remember the rest. All I know is that CK literally lost his shirt somewhere, we are too old to drink like that, and drinking during the day in water is a horrible idea for me I just never felt like I had too much until it hit me all at once. Needless to say this sparked my desire to rarely drink ever again.

When we woke up later that night I felt like a bus had run over me 100 times and I was so sick I felt poisoned. We were starving and all I could think about was mashed potatoes so we went down to the dinner buffet. It was just as terrible as breakfast BUT they did have mashed potatoes. So, that's what I ate. The biggest pile of potatoes you have ever seen. I basically paid $30 for mashed potatoes and 7 glasses of Sprite beacuse that is all I could stomach. After that... we were done with Vegas. Up to the room we went and we watched Lifetime for the rest of the night.

I think we officially decided we are too old and lazy to do Vegas like that ever again. We had a great time but alcohol is not my friend and I will never bring stupid fashionable shoes again. I think for vacations we like to go places and relax... you just can't relax in Vegas. I needed a vacation after our vacation ended but I guess when that happens you know you did Vegas right.

Froyo & Jager

Let me just start this off by saying out much I LOVE 3 day weekends.
I think every weekend should be 3 days, it is the perfect amount of time to rest after 4 days of working… why can’t this happen?
THREE day weekends people VOTE FOR THAT in November.

Anyways, Friday started off magical being that CK and I finally had a day off together for the first time in over a month! I miss getting to hang out with that knucklehead on the weekends since he is always working now. We decided that we would wake up, go to the gym, go to the movies (we finally saw The Hunger Games!), then maybe some shopping, and finally to his show at the Hard Rock for Happy Hour that night. All went as planned except CK has been a little under the weather so he didn’t go to the gym since he had to sing later (but I went!) and we didn’t have time for shopping and instead had our first Froyo bar experience which did not disappoint. I have told CK about Froyo and bloggers for a few months now (to which he tells me he does not remember) and how much I have wanted to go because:
 1. I like trying everything in small amounts
 2. I like to make my own “creations”
 and
 3. I freaking love Froyo.

We walked over to Peaks which was right by the movie theater after watching The Hunger Games (which did not disappoint it was heartbreaking wonderful and I may even like Peeta a little more now) and once inside CK got really confused. I swear this place didn’t really have signs either and if he would have gone in without me he would have probably just left or gotten $65.00 worth of Froyo. In any case once I figured out where to start the fun began. CK has a PROBLEM with sweets and the sheer SIZE of the buckets you had to choose from where awful! Their “small” bucket was better than a PINT… HUGE. Of course CK had to fill his up… and the whole time I’m like you have to pay for the weight of it…. Meanwhile he keeps loading on chocolate chips and strawberries and eating some every once in awhile and I’m like “You’re Stealing stop eating!” I’m thinking that by the time we go to pay its going to be over $20.00… but I was pleasantly surprised! Only $9.96 for both.

I tried out Pistachio, Cheesecake, and Red Velvet Froyo with a variety of toppings.

Meanwhile the beast got Chocolate and Strawberry Froyo with God knows what.

All in all it was pretty good but I want to see what other stores have to offer us. So now, we plan to hit these up every time we see one because I have finally gotten CK on board with the program!

What happens next is all Nicks fault. I blame him for everything.
We had to leave Peaks and head to downtown Seattle for CK’s Hard Rock as soon as we got finished because he has to be playing from 5pm-8pm during happy hour. Now, since it is now Spring and beautiful outside in Sunny Seattle (yes, I’m going there…it doesn’t rain nearly as much as everyone in the freaking world that has never even been here thinks) happy hour is now at the rooftop bar! It overlooks Pikes Place and the sound and is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

The bar was so crowded that for a few moments Jared, Nick, and myself had to stand because there were no open seats. (luckily this changed after about 5 minutes) After we settled in Nick wanted to do shots of jager and that’s where everything went downhill. I don’t know what got into me but I agreed and to make a long story short: I made several new friends, got extremely inebriated, almost broke my phone, and this was all before 8pm.
Jared & the bad influence.

CK doing his thing

Once the show was over our party minus Jared (because of stupid work boo!) and plus a new friend (Jen I think is her name??) moved to another bar where I danced in a booth and was told I could only have water to drink. Well, ladies and gents that’s the ONLY thing I wanted in the first place so Nah. I do have to say that this might be the KEY to getting quick service at this bar… I have NEVER gotten water and food as quickly as I did that night. (Note to self) I don’t really recall that much after well, leaving the Hard Rock but from what I am told it was a pretty fun night. I blame Nick with everything in my soul because I never take shots especially of Jager and it’s just simply all his fault.  This all lead to a very interesting morning…. I had a yoga and wine tasting date at 11am the next day with my girl Angela… ehh... I bet you can only imagine how prepared I was for that.

Barefoot & Drunk

"I'm sexy and I know it... I work out!"
Press play while you read this blog!

That was the theme of last nights activities for sure. Last night was amazing..up until the end of the night when CK forgot where he parked his car, my feet hurt so bad after a girl stepped on my foot where I now have a bruise and couldn't walk anymore in my heels, and CK then taking a wrong turn off of I5 again getting us somewhat lost. Let's not spit hairs though..crazy shit always ends up happening to me so I've just learned to blog about it and let everyone else get a little giggle from my random ass luck.

My Friday consisted of a fantastic day at work (other than the fact that I was literally STARVING and got a hunger headache earlier in the day to which I thought I was going to vomit but no worries I shook that shit off like a bad pick up line) and then it was time to have a girls night out! My first in Seattle with my new friends and I was ready. My house was prep central with a hangout and pregame before we headed out to downtown Bellevue to dance out asses off.

I of course got excited and had to prep an appetizer & wet bar extravaganza:

Summer sausage, cheese, crackers, and no bake cookies

Drinking something that Amber Rose advertises makes me want to vomit BUT that stuff is sweet and lovely.

Then we had to get ready...what to do first you ask? Make sure we don't look like the Cullen's (I mean I did meet these ladies at the tanning bed) we might be in Washington but until I start sucking blood out of peoples necks, I will be golden.
Whiting out - while FREEZING our asses off.

Love this beauty.

Introducing: Ashley, Jen, and Vanessa

& Me and Sonja

Having a little too much fun on the 405

Techno is Gooood!

Parking garage photo shoot

And this was the last shot of the night I took

So much fun was had! The first stop was Lucky Strike but it was dead so we headed over to Munch Bar and danced our asses off all night. Five hours of straight cardio is what I'd like to call it; I am so sore I could barely get up and down the stairs today.

Now, for the adventure part of the night.... CK and J met up with us at Lucky Strike last night after one of his gigs and partied the rest of the night with us. So when we got ready to go CK & I headed out to find his car - that's when he realized he didn't remember where he parked it. After searching through the parking garage the girls had parked in CK said, "oh it's the other one..." GREAT. By this time my heels were killing me and my foot hurt after some girl stepped on my while I was dancing. I had to take off my shoes (hello dirty hippie from Mississippi moment) and it was freezing. My ass was in a parking garage and outside in downtown Bellevue walking around barefoot. I was throwing a fit...drunk and pissed I was stomping around yelling, "Where is the car?!" Did I mention Bellevue is Huge with 4 different parking garages? Long story short: it took about and hour to find the car, my feet are black and ripped, and our marriage was tested. Never the less we got home "hugged" it out and decided that CK is no longer allowed to park in parking garages.

I'm in love with Seattle and all my beautiful friends that I have made. I expect many more fun nights to be had! Minus the car losing, barefoot hippie walking, and drunk yelling.

Here's the morning after shots of my nasty ass feet and left on makeup face:

GROSS.

I hate getting STAMPED! Give me a damn wrist band.
PS. Those nails are a total Seattle trend that I'm in love with.
You're welcome in advacne MS CC's.

Don't you wish you could wake up to this face. Scary

This light is a lot better.

Foodgasims.

This weekend was spent on the road with my mom, husband, and our friend Drew. Drew hit on my mom the whole time which was completely ridiculous and provided many, many funny moments; however, not cool Drew.. not cool. We went to Chattanooga, TN for the hubs music showcase (which he rocked at) and then I wanted to go out after to our hotel bar called The Office. It was AWESOME. Their motto was "All Play, No work" Be still my heart! They also had the biggest pitchers of beer I've ever seen for only five bucks.
Morning after pictures:
Why can't Chad get the whole sign in the pic... why??

Okay, so neither can Mom.

Yes, it was a great time and my mom found a new drink to order = coffee with baileys... (really mom that's sooo 2005) the hubs also got to get up on stage there and play a few impromptu songs. That always leads us to having a great time. The hotel also had an AMAZING 24 hour diner attached to it. I swear I didn't even know this when booking and the rooms were so cheap but it was a Fantastic hotel pick. If you're ever going to to Chattanooga, TN stay at the Days Inn by the convention center. I wish I would have taken pictures of our food but alas I didn't. They have everything though..Mexican, breakfast, Italian, stir fry, chicken, beef, and the biggest deserts I've ever seen. The prices were cheap and the portions were HUGE.
Example A:
Sampler Cake

Example B:
German Chocolate Cake

Portions are HUGE:
Baklavah Cheesecake

Talk about heaven. I did pretty good though, I got a turkey burger and baked potato for dinner the first night and the next morning I got 1 egg & wheat toast combo. I resisted all cakes because I knew we were going to The Cheesecake Factory on our way back and I didn't work out all weekend so I had to hold myself back. I'm pretty proud of myself too..normally I would be ass deep in some chocolate cake.

Now on to the Cheesecake Factory!!!
Everything was amazing... I don't even have words. Thank God the closest one to me is 200 miles away because if it wasn't I'd be A LOT fatter.

Don't judge me there were 7 people in our party...I swear.

Mini Appetizers:
Crab balls (One is missing...wonder where he went?)

Fried Cheese

Mini corn dogs (There were four...lucky I got a picture!)

See! I told you there were seven of us.

Entrée
ONE Chicken Tender plate... I swear there were 15 strips

Club sandwich & Sweet Potato Fry's

Skinny Menu pick from Mom! Smaller portion burger & salad

Regular sized burger with Fry's (not pictured)

I didn't want a big meal so I got 2 sides Broccoli & Mashed potatoes

Desert's
We were celebrating Chad's Grandfathers Birthday and they brought him this cute little plate!

The biggest Strawberry Shortcake I have ever seen in my life.

My Heaven: Red Velvet Cheesecake

Moms Brownie Cheesecake masterpiece. This one took the "Cheesecake"

Excuse me while I have a foodgasim.

It was absolutely Fabulous. We left with a lot of Togo boxes and fully belly's. I have to toot my own horn again though because I left and I was not stuffed I was satisfied and that's been something I've been working on my body to understand. "Do not stuff yourself to oblivion, stop when you're full." It would be so much easier to do if food didn't taste so dang good.

What makes YOU have a foodgasim?

Have you ever been to The Cheesecake Factory?
