What do April showers bring? MAY Flowers!

As I mentioned last Friday... we had big plans on Sunday to go to the Tulip Festival in Mt. Vernon, WA. Well, we actually went AND have pictures to prove it!


It was so pretty... and I don't even like tulips that much.

The purple ones were our favorite. I love me some purple.

This was the best photo I could get of us...my arm is only so long.

I swear my head isn't normally that much bigger than his.

After the tulips we went to purchase this little gem that I have been wanting for several months...

I am SO excited to learn how to use it... currently it's still in the box and I have no idea how to turn it on. I have never been so intimidated by a camera in my life. Time to read the manual. This is PART I of the exciting news for the blog! The major reveal will be coming soon... just trying to get all my projects in a row!

We got to shoot guns with my daddy! (I just realized we didn't take a picture together! FAIL) I am now obsessed with The Walking Dead and I NEED zombie training. I mean really... I haven't shot a gun in forever and I knew that a trip to Mississippi meant an abundance of family members with guns and other weapons. What... it's the South.

Anyways, there was also some killer crossbow action with my brother in law Jeremy in honor of Darrell. Don't worry everyone, I made sure to yell out... SOPHIAAA! While shooting.

 

The rest of the trip was spent spending time with family and another gig this time in Laurel. Here is a photo dump:
