Deals #buyallthethings

I'm all out of whack with what day it is... I seriously thought today was Saturday up until I started writing this blog and it's only Friday. Yay for long weekends and not knowing what's going on! What's my name again? Anyways, what I do know is deals and I've got some for you guys.

First off - I didn't step foot out of my house on Black Friday which is JUST what the Doctor ordered but I did do a little online shopping / shopping planning. Here is what I found:

HOLD UP: Lets take a moment and talk about Ebates. If you shop online at all and don't use this site yet go slap yourself right now. That sounds mean but I'm serious you are throwing money out the door. I am still mad at myself I only just found this site because I could have saved SO MUCH MONEY over the last few years it is disgusting. (Thanks a lot sister who assumed I was already doing Ebates and didn't tell me.) #Rude

Anyways - long story short you just sign up and then every time you shop online go to ebates first and then click the store through there and you will get the % of cash back that is valid for that shopping trip. I've earned over $100 CASH in the last 3 months that I have been doing this.. 8% cash back at Sephora - 6% cash back on my groupon purchases - it ADDS UP! Not to mention the referral bonuses which are nice and they change quarterly. Just take my word for it and go sign up right now! They even give you $5.00 free after your first purchase. It's easy, it's free, and it's idiot proof.
Examples of the double CASH BACK bonuses going on right now:

Now back to shopping...

GAP - 50% off EVERYTHING using colde Blkfriday  + if you join Ebates you will get 12% back ON TOP of that 50% off - that's getting 62% off of your entire purchase... sweaters here I come!

Quest Nutrition - I'm obsessed with quest bars and they are having a deal on Cyber Monday! FREE Shipping and 25% off Everything using code: CYBERUS or CYBERINT if you're not in the USA you still get 25% off but shipping isn't free.

POPSUGAR must have BOX - I've been getting this box for a few months now and have NEVER been disappointed. I love it's full size products and they are having a KILLER deal until Sunday 11/30 with the following codes:

Try it - your first box would only be $25 with the 15 off code and it's the December box! I can't wait to see what the treat us with for Christmas... #addicted

MadebyBettyB Etsy Store - Dream catchers / Christmas ornaments / handmade jewelry this store is one of my favorites. Basically everyone I know that has a baby is getting a custom dream catcher because they are so freaking adorable and unique I can't help myself. I love them - I want them all - and one of my very talented best friends owns and makes all of these lovely things. Shop small business and support local business this time of year - follow her on Instagram @madebymettyb for her SALE she is launching TONIGHT at 7pm CST. (11/29/14) Also, look out for the discount code she will put up after the flash sale that will be good on her website! Below are a just a few of my purchases over the last year...not including the ones that she is finishing up now! I just LOVE her stuff...

RUBY STELLA - I have been too cheap to buy from this site yet but dang it today might be the day! I found this site after stalking some of my favorite celebs - everyone who's anyone wears these kinds of jewels and I mean, I NEED some myself ya know. Complete and utter necessity...

Today you can get 30% off with the code: THANKSGIVING

And that's all for now... Chad just got off work early and I want to go make out with him.
Happy Shopping!

Grocery Shopping

It's Black Friday y'all!

How many of you are going out shopping to save a few dollars today? NOT me. Nope, nope, nope, I HATE Black Friday with the passion of a 1,000 suns. My sister LOVES it - she plans and preps for weeks and heads out at ungodly hours to start the madness. Well, actually now that stores are opening on Thanksgiving night I'm pretty sure she's heading out a 6pm on Thursday and staying out until 5-6am the next day. Yuck. She gets some kind of thrill out of it which I know a lot of you do but I think you're all crazy. I will gladly pay full price not to deal with that crap.

The pure chaos that happens is what gets me - piles of things every where - frantic people pushing on doors and drooling at the mouth to get a 50in TV for $200. I'll just order it online for $300. I get the same feeling when I'm at Ross or Hudsons or a discount store. If things aren't organized and clean I can't do it and I MOST CERTAINLY am not going to be around thousands of people. I don't even enjoy music concerts anymore because of huge crowds of people - I am NOT trying to shop with them either. I would most likely kill someone in pajamas and with all my kickboxing training - I feel it's safer that I stay away from you crazy people and let y'all enjoy the savings. Online shopping is the life for me.

With that being said... lets talk about online shopping for groceries. I have a friend who I won't mention (Terra) who raves and raves about ordering her groceries from Safeway - I think this is heartbreaking. Every time I say I have to go to the store she looks at me and laughs saying she doesn't because she got hers delivered. I just don't understand... going grocery shopping is one of my FAVORITE things to do. I like to browse the aisles, look for deals, try a free sample or two, organize my coupons, check for mark downs,  and you can't do that online! Where is the fun in clicking buttons for groceries!? Granted it's awesome to not have to CARRY the groceries up the stairs but I just don't see the appeal. Amazon FRESH delivers as well but I haven't wanted to try that either.

Do you guys get groceries delivered or are you like me and plot and plan every trip to the store like a champ? I suppose it's pointless now for me now to even try the service as I will be moving back to MS soon and I don't think anyone delivers groceries there. I'll just keep on doing it like normal... ya know.. IN STORE.

It's a Wonderful Life

The holidays have been fantastic so far. For example this weekend we went to a "Silly Hat Christmas Party"and I won a rubber chicken for least effort. I suppose it's true since my hat is adorable and not silly at all. Haters.
I have been so happy lately... like ridiculously happy. Nothing drastic has really happened and you'd think I'd be sad that this will be our first Christmas spent away from home but I just can't get sad. I feel all of these blessings happening in my life and my heart is so full of love that I could just explode. I have wonderful friends that I do fun things with, I'm so in love with my husband that even when he forgets to plug my phone in to charge at night I don't get mad, and the closeness I feel to God right now is stronger than I have ever felt before in my life. This past year has been such an interesting one full of situations that have really tested my emotions and I can honestly say God has lead me through each one of them. Each choice that has brought me to where I am at this moment has been the right one and while I have cried, bitched, moaned, screamed, etc. many times it was all part of my process.

One huge part of my process has been learning to love myself. I've always struggled with weight and the need to please the people that I love most and this year I really learned that the only person I have to please is myself. (Sometimes Chad) I've started to change lifelong habits (such as drinking soda) and to move towards a more realistic life. I put down the MyFitnessPal App and started to LOOK at food and see it for what it is instead of counting it. It took 6 months but I've lost and kept off 17lbs and I hope this next year that number doubles. I still eat pizza, I still eat cake, but it's just different now. Portion is key and I think letting go of the GUILT for eating those things has been the biggest change of all. Another thing is working out, learning that my body really loves yoga and that cardio and weights are quite fun as well. The importance of getting my body into a healthy place has also made me a believer in massage. I have been carrying such stress around with me for what feels like years and after four massages in two months I finally feel un-wound. I know so many people that have never gotten a massage and I have no idea how anyone lives their life that way. Between my work stress and working out I don't think I could make it without getting the occasional massage and I have found the most AMAZING masseuse in Washington. I feel like the Seahawks should hire her but then she wouldn't have time for me so hopefully none of them see this blog post.

I wanted to tell you guys about Diane so that if you are in the Lynnwood, WA area you can get a crazy good deal and check her out. I love to share really good services with people and I give her my 100% backing as the best masseuse I have ever been to. (And I've been to a lot) She really has a knack for reading your body and where you carry your stress but the best part is how tuned in she is with your energy. Now, I know that sounds crazy but it's true! My right forearm has been tight for months and I could never figure out why. Then I go to Diane and she notices and then tells me that in Eastern medicine the right side of the body is thought to be the male side and that tightness might mean I'm holding onto an issue with a man and I need to just let go. WHOA, I thought of a personal situation the moment she said that and I took the advice. Two months and three massages later my arm is no longer tight. It's very rare to feel like someone is in tune with what you're going through in life and I feel like she knows exactly why I'm stressed and then she gives you affirmations and guides you to let them go. I'm about to snag this deal right now and if you're smart you will too! Two 90min Massages OR Three 1 hour massages for $100! (Normally $180!) That is crazy good and she doesn't jip you like everyone else with only a 50 minute massage she has always given me a full 60 minutes for an hour and Sunday I ended up getting 67 minutes of pure happiness just because! It was so lovely that I had that half asleep/half awake massage because I was so relaxed and what she does that is so different from any other one I have ever had was the "Healing Energy" part which basically means she whispers to you about breathing in and out and other chants to focus on instead of thinking about having to go to the grocery store for the third time in four days. Diane is such a delight, I always leave so relaxed and refreshed. Check out these deals on her website that are only good until December 31st and get ready to feel brand new!
