Work Excitment!

If I could get off work everyday at 3pm I feel like I would accomplish a lot more in my life. Those last 2 hours could be used at the gym or at something really fabulous like shopping/happy hour. I doubt that dream will come true for me anytime soon because it's finally official.... I got a promotion!

I started working as a customer service/sales support for my company last November. You might remember how excited I was to get that job from this post and since February of this year my boss has been hinting that our office was about to grow and that I was in the running for getting promoted to inside sales. After working with the guys and them training me on everything under the sun the last few months have been exciting/exhausting. I can't wait to move out of my role that I am in now and start my new one. I love change and a challenge and the best part about all of this is the support I have from my entire office and I am so excited to finally get to announce it to you guys!

Expect a lot more posting about shopping.

Inside sales is exactly what it sounds like; however, this isn't one of those sales jobs where you have to beg people to buy things and be all annoying and gross. It's really hard to explain what we sell so I'll just keep it simple with electronic connectors and power supplies. I'm pretty sure most of my family thinks I'm lying and not employed but I swear...it's a real job and a really GOOD job. I'm so blessed to get this opportunity so quickly and I can't wait to start the transition next week when our new girl starts in my position!

Awww Sugar Sugar.

Top news for this weekend is that I ate WAY to much sugar.
I blame Chad... end of that story.
Labor Day weekend was so much fun! The hubs and I were actually off 2 days in a row at the same time. That hasn't happened in months... since we went to Cannon Beach in fact. It really does suck not getting to spend as much time off with him as I would like but as the guys at work tell me, "That's what keeps a marriage strong."
We had ourselves a little Mountain adventure on Sunday that I'll blog about in full detail later but here's my favorite picture from the day to hold you over:
I'm a professional 1 handed photo snapper.

Then yesterday we went on a little shopping spree. We haven't dropped that much cash in one day in awhile but hell we deserve it! I took CK to Road Runner to do the Shoe Dog thing and after an arm and a leg he came out with new inserts and new Nikes! I am so jealous of his shoes... I want them. The guys always have the cooler color combos in my opinion no stupid pastel pinks over in that section. To bad I asked the guy if they had a 6.5 in them and he said... nope. Such is life...

I love me some gray with a pop of color! He took a run this morning and I got an excited I LOVE MY SHOEEESSSS text. Guess we won't be returning them.

Then it was time to go to the Big Mall where you can spend all your money in less than 5 mins but first a shopping pre race meal:
It's just so unfair men (Chad) can eat that big ole Apple Fritter and not get fat yet that mini chocolate sprinkled cake donut makes me gain 10lbs...okay okay so I "helped" with the fritter. Stupid sugar.

 Breaking news!!!
While shopping I found a dress for Nicoles wedding rehearsal dinner.
I'll post pictures later but here's a hint: Color Block!

Reason #78 to get a husband.

If you shop at Target...you should READ THIS.

If you know me or read my blog then you know how much I love a good deal. Some may call me cheap I call it smart. Why pay more for something when you can get it for less right?!

Enter:

First off I'm sure we can all agree that Target is one of the most fantastical stores ever created. It makes Wal-Mart look like it's white trash baby sister that doesn't get invited to Christmas. I watched documentaries behind both companies and let me tell you... Target is where it's at. A huge plus for me is that they have awesome clothes... and that damn $1.00 isle...oh that isle!

And now they have gone and done something amazing...something that ALL of you should go take advantage of as soon as possible. Seriously.

The Target Red Card.

This is NOT a Credit Card. I repeat NOT a Credit Card. After a friend told me about getting one I was skeptical, I thought oh, it's a credit card but when I went to the store with a checkbook in hand (you need to bring a check in) to find out all about this card I was pleasantly surprised. The Target Red Card is basically a debit card just for Target. Here's what you do:

1. Take your checkbook to Target with you.
2. Buy a bunch of stuff you may or may not actually need.
3. Go to check out and tell the cashier you want to enroll in the Target Red Card.
4. They will have you fill out this quick little info sheet and ask you for a blank check.
5. They will ring up all your purchases and set up the Red Card for you.
6. You will automatically save 5% off of everything you buy. Every single day. There are NO LIMITS!
7. You walk out so happy that you decided you need to go back as soon as possible to shop more.

It's THAT easy!

What the Red Card gets you:
5% off of EVERY single purchase. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
FREE SHIPPING on All online purchases + 5% off!

Do you KNOW how many more presents I can buy for people now?! Free shipping AND 5% off online... if you want something from me you BETTER register at Target.

Oh yea Target, Oh yea.

I also asked them why they were offering this absolutely FREE and they told me that every time they have to run a credit or debit card they have to pay a fee to that card company (visa, mastercard, etc) so in order to eliminate those fees they created this card that just drafts your checking account for purchases. Simple. Smart. Straightforward. Easy.

So, hop on over to Target and go get this card RIGHT Now...
