Friday Things

What a crazy exciting week. I have to be honest and say that I think I had one of the BEST Monday mornings I've ever had in my life. We have been putting out some feelers to our friends and family in MS to find a decent two plus bedroom house to rent and last week I got a lead on my DREAM house. After a few phone calls and some praying we started playing the waiting game to hear if we would get this house. This house let me tell you goes BEYOND my wildest dreams. I saw it a year or so ago on the market for sale but we weren't in MS yet or ready to buy a house so, I moved along and prayed that God would lead us in the right direction when the time came. God listens. Oh my word the gratitude and humbleness I feel right now brings me to tears. So, Monday morning I woke up bright eyed at 5AM because I just couldn't wait anymore to find out if we would be getting into this house. I made myself leave the owners alone for the weekend so they would have plenty of time to talk everything out and come to a decision and it almost killed me. Well, not really but I just couldn't stop thinking about it. If we landed this house it would be the perfect match, the perfect timing, and we wouldn't have to live with any of our relatives in January! I admit I was looking forward to living with Chads Grandmother for a few weeks but it always feels better to get your own place and have your own things at your finger tips. Long story short - WE GOT THE HOUSE!

I am still in shock really at how quickly this happened and how perfectly it all lined up. It gives me the same feeling I had when we moved up to Seattle - things just fell into place and everything felt RIGHT. It's moments like that when I know that God is driving our life and all of our choices. Only He could smooth out a path like this and bless us with everything we have worked and prayed for. I know that we are making the right move; I know we are doing what He is calling us to do and I will keep putting all my faith into Him for the rest of my life. I am so thankful - all the glory goes to God!

In other news this week (which so isn't as important as the above) I worked out a lot - had my last work Happy Hour with my amazing team - went out with my kickboxing family to say the dreaded goodbye (more on that Monday) - and mailed off our Christmas cards! It's been busy and this weekend is going to be crazy too. *More on that next week.

It's our last two weeks in Washington and we are going to make the most of it.

Sometimes, I go crazy.

Sometimes I get in this mood... the mood where I think I need a house but then I remember that:

 A. I have no idea where I would want this house
B. I have no desire to be planted in one spot right now
C. I don't want to deal with all the responsibilities that come with a house
D. I don't want to look for a house
E. I don't want to deal with getting money for a house
F. I'm not ready to fill this house with kids (which I know would be what I wanted to do next)

It's so funny that for so long I was planning this move, this huge step in my life and getting ready for it. Well, now that it is here and I have moved and we are settled in, what am I to start planning/worrying about next? WHY AM I LIKE THIS!? My mom thinks it's hilarious that I simply cannot be content. I'm always wanting more or "hard to please" but then again I think that's how things happen in life - accomplish one thing move onto the next.
I'm not ready to deal with the whole house thing yet though so what do I need to do in the meantime? Well, first thing up is get CK famous but that's pretty much taking care of itself. (He amazes me everyday with his talent, ambition, and LUCK) I simply am unsure what to do with myself right now... so I think I should just work, work out, and save as much money as possible.

Then again when CK gets famous we will have lots of money...ughhh?

Terri's life goals:

1. Get CK famous
2. Buy house
3. Have babies

Then what... shit I only have 3 things left on my "big life goals" list. Two of which I could do at any time? I might be sounding like a complete brat right now but I'm just so lost at the moment.
I need to be inspired, I need to start planning something.

I feel like moving across the country was epic.. so epic that it's going to take awhile to top. Oh holy hell I'm going to the art store soon and get back into training for a 1/2 marathon maybe those two things will take up some time but I dunno... for some reason buying a house is the only thing that seems fun. However, I don't want to actually do it.

There is absolutely no point to this blog, I just had to get some things out there to float in space.

What should I do that would take up some time and be rewarding?
Give me ideas people, at the moment I'm open to anything other than buying a house or having kids.

Guess what movie this is from and you get 2 snaps!
