Extensions are a girls best friend

As some of you may already know I am getting married soon and for this little event I HAD to HAVE long, beautiful, thick, luscious HAIR. Not saying that my hair isn't banging normally but it's thin and feels like it just won't GROW. Well, that's fixed now!

I feel like a Kardashian

Here are some fun pictures of the process provided by Kerri Welch Owner of Static A Salon Call her to set up your appointment, I promise you WON'T regret it! Now, prepare yourself for prices. Extensions are not cheap (they run between $700-$2000 bones ouch.) and the only reason I splurged was for my wedding... and also I've got a few connections. <3 you K DUB!

Meredith, one of mine and Kerri's best friends was in town for the weekend & spent the day at the salon helping us. There is so much history with the three of us. Besties since high school and they had surprised me with a party the night before. (that will be the next blog!!!) Mer seen below was helping prep my new hair!

Thanks Mer!!

I know I look eh fabulous here with the 100 extensions all put in BEFORE the cut & Style
And No, she would NEVER let anyone walk out looking like this.

Tada! Cut & Styled! I love love love it and the hair is going to be AMAZINGNESSSS on the Big Day!

Thanks Kerbaby I love you endlessly!

The back - This was taken in the Salons FABULOUS bathroom. It is felt wallpaper! Be sure to go to the potty when you go to the salon you don't want to miss those furry walls.

& Then Kerri Decided to spoil us and let us pick out some tinsel to put in our hair! This became popular from the Real Housewife of Beverly Hills - Adrienne Maloof

Mer showcasing the color choices -
PS. Tinsel is wayyyy cooler then those stupid feathers. I'm sorry I'm a feather hater.

Preetttyyy Colorssss - I chose Dark Red sparkly & Mer chose sparkly Tan Goldenness

It was such a fun day!

I can't believe we didn't buy anthing.

This past weekend was a wild ride. It will be a 3 part blog kind of a story & here is Part 1:

Work blows, so Friday was a tough one but I was excited to be heading to Jackson to see my family and friends. The drive there however, always blows. It's not to terribly of a long trip (about 2 hours) but annoying none the less. I didn't get into town until late and had an emotional exhaustion breakdown in front of my Gran who forced me to eat and watch old movies. I love that woman, she is so much fun and not a typical Grandmother at all.

The next day we had to go shopping. I thought that I was the one who needed to go shopping being that I needed to find about 3 outfits for our engagement pictures THIS coming Sunday and I need to get tons of little things for the wedding... like really: garter belts, cute underwear, shoes, jewelry, hair clips, who has time for all this!? Needless to say I was mistaken and this was not a Terri shopping trip this was a we have to find mom a mother of the bride dress like... NOW.

I think this may have been our first shopping trip together. Ever. In my entire life, with this group of women. Hilarious.

My sister Dawn, Me,  My Mom Sharon, & My Gran Mazie.

My Niece & I

Mazie taught me how to pose in case you were wondering.

-------------------------------
The shopping trip was useless. Other than the fabulous time I had with my family, finding out what size Calvin Klein Shoes I wear, & the possible finding of my rehearsal dinner dress the day included no purchases. Nothing was accomplished & Sharon still doesn't have a dress. How is it possible that 5 women went shopping and didn't buy anything.

After the unsuccessful shopping trip and a yummy lunch at Majestic Burgers (I had the turkey burger on whole wheat with feta cheese & Fry's) I had to do some TOP SECRET Bridesmaid gift stuff. I'm definitely going to blog about the expierence after the wedding because it was a ton of fun! I simply can't blog about it right now because they would all find out and what fun would that be!?
Shout out: to Mazie & Sharon for the help!

Then it was PART 1 of my moms wedding gift from Chad & I.
HAIR MAKEOVER:

My mom is a beautiful lady but she needed a freshen up. I love my mom and I have an amazingly talented friend that owns an upscale hair salon in Madison, MS. STATIC A SALON (Facebook Page) Kerri is a one of a kind person who spent her Sunday off doing my moms hair, my hair, & our friend Meredith's hair. She is amazing and I'm so lucky to call her one of my best friends. Shes one of my Matrons of Honor at our wedding (one of the reasons I can't blog about her present) and has been putting up with me since we were 16.

Anyways, back to my mother's makeover:

BAM! Hott Mommmmma in the House!
"Hide ya kids, Hide ya husbands, Hide ya wife!"

The second part of her gift comes Wednesday. She will finish her hair makeover with a straightening treatment that Kerri will do for her. I have no idea what it is called... Call Kerri to find out! Mom will also be getting a makeover & all new makeup done by Miss. Haley Skeen (My Maid of Honor) at Sephora in Flowood. I love spoiling that woman, I just wish I could do even more. Oh, and I swear they arn't just my friends because they do Hair & Makeup... hehe

-------------------------------------

I have SO much more to blog about the past weekend so be on the look out. The next part of the story is coming soon to a bloggerspace near you.

WORKOUT: 20mins on treadmill (1.3 miles) 10 mins on bike (.70mile) Monkey bars & arms workout.

I sucked big time today at the gym, but hey at least I went. The FI & I have the 5k coming up on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out why my leg has been sore for the last week. It's been tight and sore on my left leg in the theigh area. I've been trying hard to streach it out but I'm starting to worry I might need to lay off for more than 2 days to get it to go away. Which I really don't want to do. Hopefully, after a good night sleep tonight I'll feel better tomorrow.
