Bainbridge Island & Wedding Cake

Saturday CK had a show on Bainbridge Island here in WA (you  have to take the ferry from downtown Seattle and then cross the Sound to get to it!) If you don't know about this island it is so pretty and looks like the perfect little town that everyone leaves alone so not to ruin it. I swear I want to live there other than the fact that if I did it would take me over 2 hours to get to work...sooooo I'll just have to visit when I start to miss it.

I absolutely LOVE the view of Seattle from the Ferry and this was the first time I got to see it at night... It is so pretty and this is the best my IPhone camera could do.

Then Kyle got out his badass camera and took these:

The show was at Pegasus Coffee house which also served up some amazing food and had a full bar! It also had the craziest bench that reminded me of grade school with the round stool seats; however, these stool seats moved...and when I tried to sit down I ended up on the floor. Story of my life.

They also had this cake... It reminded me of our wedding cake and since CK got to eat and drink for free...we ordered a slice!

It was amazing but didn't hold a candle to our wedding cake.

This was more white chocolate icing and less butter cream - either way it was delicious. We also got a 3 cheese Beechers Panini on ciabatta bread and house made Italian sausage. It was FREAKING AMAZING. You might remember our other adventures with Beecher's cheese here: I'd Like to be Black please but I never even thought of having it grilled in between my favorite kind of bread. Yum Yum Yum.

Now time for some pictures that our friend Kyle took while we were there. He takes some really great pictures and is one of the funniest people we have met up here. Love that guy! PS. I want you camera!

Sh*t they post on Facebook! Part 2

You may remember a post from awhile ago where I take screen shots of my facebook when my friends say or put funny stuff on there... well guys...it's about that time to crack up again:

Haha I love you guys.

And then something odd starting happening yesterday... all of my friends back home in Mississippi started posting pictures of brooms standing up on there own. I mean really guys? This was like 30 people - all I saw were brooms standing up on there own all over my Facebook wall for an entire day. Why is this so amazing? I think it must be a southern thing because our friend Kyle said that his friends back in Tennessee were posting the same thing! The broom epidemic hasn't hit up here yet.... I don't have a broom but my vaccume stands up on its own. I call that Amazing.

Five things for Friday

Let's be Random today...since it's Friday and all. This might possibly be the most Random Friday I have ever had by the way. In regards to my blog absences i've been in major anxiety mode all week (I'll explain later) and the thought of blogging anything but happy/fun things was what stopped me from blogging. I refuse for this blog to be anything  but the good part of life..I mean really who wants to hear about someone being stupid and whiny on her blog...not me. No pictures of wrist cutting here.

Moving Along... how about 5 Random things for Friday:

1. My best friend is coming to visit me in May!!! For freaking 8 days...talk about someone loving you and missing you a shit ton. I love that beautiful woman!

2. I've been drinking a lot of Green Monsters for lunch! I love getting my fruits and veggies in with this smoothie! It really is delicious.

That's Pineapples, grapes, strawberries, strawberry chobani, water, ice, & spinach

My ugly plastic cup (I got it for $2!) that is essential to drinking smoothies... through a STRAW. You have to have a straw or it's disgusting drinking smoothies... tooo thick and cold. I have to have a straw.

4. I saw Joan Rivers preform Wednesday night with my Mother.

5. CK got sick this week. We all know what that means:

Total MANCHILD.

Men are the worst at being sick they turn into total babies!
