TV Marathons

After a ridiculous night on Friday the rest of the weekend was spent on my couch watching TV. Usually when this happens I end up watching crazy things and this weekend was no different.

First up we have Spring Breakers.

I don't even know where to start. I have no idea what this movie was about or why Selena, Vanessa, and James Franco even did this movie. It literally felt like a home video of a group of college girl best friends making the craziest choices possible. I was always broke in college but never once did I think, "Oh hey lets go rob the local dairy bar and steal enough money to get to Florida." WTF?!

Here is the actual synopsis:
Four sexy college girls plan to fund their spring break getaway by burglarizing a fast food shack. But that’s only the beginning… During a night of partying, the girls hit a roadblock when they are arrested on drug charges. Hungover and clad only in bikinis, the girls appear before a judge but are bailed out unexpectedly by Alien, an infamous local thug who takes them under his wing and leads them on the wildest Spring Break trip in history. Rough on the outside but with a soft spot inside, Alien wins over the hearts of the young Spring Breakers, and leads them on a Spring Break they never could have imagined.

Yea, it's that weird. The best thing about the movie was James Francos creepy character whispering..."Spring Breakkkk" "Spring Breakkkk" Chad and I both agreed best part of the movie. Oddest part was when JF gave a BJ to a gun. Yea, that happened.

Up next was a The Jeffery Dahmer Files

Synopsis: An experimental documentary film that uses archival footage, interviews, and fictionalized scenarios to tell the story of the people around Jeffrey Dahmer during the summer of his arrest in 1991.

This was a really interesting look at Dahmer. I find serial killers fascinating and terrifying at the same time so I watch a lot of documentaries about them. This one started off a little slow but then it really dove into the people that Dahmer knew and affected. I highly recommend this one. Also, it was 1991 and you know what that means! Killer fashion windbreaker style and the detective that got the confessions disgusting mustache.

This guy freaked me out and he's a cop.

The weekend also included hours of My Little Ponies, True Life, and Lifetime movies. It's a hard day getting all that work done folks. You really have to work out your brain to be able and understand that many story lines. It's like a TV marathon. This girl might have ran over 50 marathons but I watch 26.2 hours of TV every weekend. I should start having expos on Thursday nights so I can get my viewing packet and free snacks. You guys can join too just send me your $85 entry fee in the mail. Cash only please and I'll mail your race map, snacks, and bibs to your house. If you successfully watch all TV I'll mail you your super fabulous medal that you can proudly wear around your neck and post pictures of on Facebook. Hey, I might even throw in a 26.2 sticker for your car!

TEN!

Woohoo! I did it! after almost 2 months I lost the first 10lbs.

I'm really happy..it's going to take time to lose the rest but I'm willing to put it in. This week was a good week...last week was hard. What is the moral of the story? Push through the bad weeks and keep going, it gets better.

As a reward to myself I decide to get a couple new pretty baubles after this girl posed about going to the Kendra Scott store. Chad is going to make me stop reading your blog if you don't stop posting about all things fabulous. Now, I'm on a rampage to get a Chanel purse before I die and he is having a stroke saying, "Is that the last purse you're ever going to get?" --- No, Chad. There is no such thing as a "last purse."

I also have now added going to the Kendra Scott Color Bar in Newport to the list when we are on vacation in November! I love discovering new jewelry stores just about as much as I love discovering new types of brownies.

Where do you get your favorite jewelry?

Fridays Five

1. I'm sure you alllll heard about the Royal baby George!

Welcome to the world future king.

2. I'm so proud of my husband. He is AMAZING and living proof that if you go after your dreams you can get them. Almost 2 years in Seattle and he has accomplished so much. Every weekend he has at least 1 show and for the month of August he has already booked more gigs than ever before. I also might add that he no longer plays for free and that my friends is a HUGE accomplishment as any musician will tell you. Go after your dreams kid and NEVER let anyone tell you you're not good enough. Now, go LIKE his Facebook page and keep up with all of his dreams.

3. AMANDA BYNES poured gasoline all over her POMERANIAN!! WTF?!
This crazy girl accidentally drenched her pom with gasoline and rushed into a gas station to wash it off. Thank God the dog is not hurt AND she is now being held for psychiatric evaluation. How can someone be so careless to possibly hurt their dog...ESPECIALLY A POMERANIAN! Excuse me while I go snuggle with Olive.

OMG it looks like Olive a little!! I'm so upset over this. Get your act together you freaking little miserable person. You are rich, skinny, previously beautiful, funny, and you have dogs. I don't care what you're going through. SNAP OUT OF IT.

4. OMG This made my day!

Make a real movie... do it do it do it!

5. I'm so over seeing weight loss pills/wraps/shakes/etc on my Facebook. There are no quick fixes! Stop wasting money and go to the gym and eat better. YES, it might take longer and it sucks...but it's how you're supposed to do it. Give me a breakkkkkkkkkk.
