The last 3 weeks of my life have been extremely exhausting; hence, my complete disappearance and shut down this weekend. I haven't slept in or been at home for that matter the previous 2 weekends due to me helping my mom sell crap like this to strangers:
Seriously, I made someone pay 5 bucks for this... forgive me lord.
I am a sleeper. I love to sleep and I run the best off of 8-9 hours a night. Well, hubs thinks I'm a wimp and sleeping my life away because he only logs in probably 4-7 on average. I told him the other day, "What do you want from me? Do you want to see bags under my eyes in a few days because I will get ugly if I don't sleep! I NEED SLEEP DAMNIT!" I feel no guilt in admitting that and I think he is insane for calling me weak. Bastard.
This weekend I actually got to stay home (insert happy dance) and actually sleep in and then got to go to the gym so I was back to my normal routine again. It was just what I needed. I don't feel exhausted, I feel good about getting to work out more, (I've only been getting to the gym 3 times a week for the last two when I normally go 5!) and I'm ready for this next week and CK's Birthday Extravaganzzzzza next weekend. My honeybunchesofoats will be 29 on Saturday... (what an old fart) so before he hits the dirty 30 as Cassie would say we are going to celebrate in style. Well, we will really probably just get drunk and go swimming. Hey, he likes to swim what can I say.

Previous weekend Catchup time!!!
Last weekend Chad had another gig at good ole Brady's in Jackson on Friday night and Haley and I decided to have a mini photo shoot:
Doesn't her hair look like lioness like Rawr!
There are more pictures but the wench won't send them to me. BOOO Haley. Anyways, after the gig I stayed in Jackson and the hubs went home because he had to work the next AM. Bright and Early after only 3 hours of sleep Friday night I woke up Saturday morning to help my mom with another garage sale. Haley did buck up and come help at 6am (BEST FRIEND EVER) and the day was pretty fun. It started to rain about 1pm right as we were getting everything inside from the yard so that was just great. Haley and I planned to go shopping that afternoon and we weren't going to let a little TON of rain stop us. My shoes were soaked and I chose to "borrow" a pair of my Grans (she has literally over a 1,000 throughout her house) So, I find a nice pair of Nine West tan flops and go to pick up Haley.
Dun Dun Dunnn.... did I mention is was POURING rain? It was, and we are idiots and didn't bring an umbrella. We had about 6 different stops to make so this was in and out of the car, running through the rain craziness. We did find an umbrella in my car after the first 2 stops but it was little and Haley and I clung to each other like Kate and Leo did on the Titanic which made us even slower running into the stores. I'm sure we were also pretty interesting to watch.
We were having a blast laughing at ourselves until we went to Kroger. I stepped out of my car into a pond full of rain water and my shoes fell apart. Literally they freaking MELTED. WTF! Now, I'm barefoot in a parking lot with no shoes, while its pouring down rain.
Haley is laughing at me and thank God there was a Rue 21 by the Kroger where they sell cheap clothes and CHEAP SHOES! So, I run across the parking lot and into the store barefoot and back to the flip flop wall. They are buy one get one free... we find a pair of black lightening bolt shoes (how appropriate) and buy them for each of us.
Notice the rain water and soaked feet.
We had a great Saturday. I love my crazy bestie.
PS. Get a blog loser.
Have your shoes ever fell apart on you?
What do you like to do for your Birthday?
