Valley of the Dolls

First off- The Wedding Pictures are IN!!!!
Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! But now I have to select which ones I want BLOWN UP to go on my walls all over my house. Of course, most of them will just be ME because I like to look at myself and it was my wedding... Just kidding. I'm totally going to let Chad be in a few... maybe. I will be posting a whole blog soon full of wedding pictures and details of that crazy/fun/amazing/perfect day.

Perfect as in My MOH/Best Friend for LIFE Haley Vomited in the middle of my vows.
Yup, that totally happened.
Be sure to come back and read about those details!

----------------------

Due to the wedding pictures coming in my mom hightailed it to my house yesterday and is staying with us until she goes through all 1200 and makes her picks. I'm on lunch right now and she has only made it through the bunch one time and is already mad at me because there are just "too many to pick from they are all good" Well, Mom you can't have 1200 pictures blown up on you walls so get to work and make some choices! (I'm practicing tuff love on everyone right now and I know she is about to read this over my shoulder. Haha) Last night we cooked steaks and watched a movie I am kicking myself for not watching before. How did I miss out on this gem for so long?

It is a Cult Classic after all:
Why did Manson have to murder her? She was absolutely stunning.

Barbara Perkins you are my new idol.
Absolutely breath taking. I miss classic beauty and timeless style.
I'm going to start dressing like this:
And wearing my hair like this:

I always thought this movie was about pretty girls in California. That's it, I didn't know it was about drugs aka "dolls" or sexuality and stardom in the 60's! Love it. I love movies that have real endings that aren't happy and that really reflect how messed up life can be. (See my love for Closer & Love Story)
Now, I need more suggestions on old movies to watch that I have missed out on.

Also, I promise from this day forward to call any prescription meds that I have to take Dolls.

What are you favorite Classic Movies?

Wakey Wakey, Eggs & Bakey!

Hi there! I see I have a lot more traffic today thanks to SkinnyRunner! Be sure to Follow me and I hope you enjoy!!! Oh, and leave a comment below that I can return the Following love.
--------------------------------------------------------

This morning I woke up at 5:30am for a nice workout pre-work (it was an ugly 2 miles) and now I'm just gonna go ahead and jump head first into Tuesday with a little randomness (TripleTangentTuesday):
In the words of the joker,

T. I really don't like Mexican food. (GASP!) Yes, it's true I hear everyone around me all of the time get excited about going to Mexican and they just can't wait for some chips and salsa with a salty margarita to wash it all down. Well, I don't like salsa, and margaritas give me heartburn now. (I guess I'm to old for that shit now because I used to drink ritas all the time.) I don't like shredded chickens/meats, I don't like corn tortillas, I don't like sour cream, I don't like chili peppers, I don't like guacamole, and I don't like a 100 other things at those damn restaurants! I could eat Italian all day, I can eat Chinese food, I love Greek food, and of course good ole southern cookin'. Me and Mexico though, I just don't like you. (Granted I love going on vacations to you but I'm not down with all of your crazy food flavors.) There are only a few things that I eat when my husband (who is OBSESSED with Mexican food) makes me go. If one of those rare occasions where I'm trying to be sweet and let him eat what he wants occurs I only eat from the following options: chips and cheese dip, regular meat tacos, PLAIN tamales (no sauce), and cheese quesadillas (JUST CHEESE ONLY). That's it. My whole life... the whole almost five years I've been with my hubs this is all I choose from. So, the other night when I was trying to be nice and said we could order takeout Mexican and bring it back to the house and watch movies what do I tell him I want?

1 tamale and 1 cheese quesadilla.

What does he order?

1 tamale 1 cheese enchilada.

WTF!?

How do you get these 2 things confused?
Cheese enchilada? Ewww

Cheese Quesadilla.
(I had to make this one myself at home that night)

It's at this moment in our relationship where I ask, "Do you even know me?!"
We almost got divorced, but then I realized how stupid that would sound in court so, I decided to forgive him and demand that he make me a cheese quesadilla. Well, that lasted until he walked in the kitchen and went toward the microwave (the only thing he knows how to cook with) and I told him to get out I'd do it myself. He better be glad he's cute.

TT. I saw this quote on a friends Facebook page and I love it and wanted to share it with you:

"What I want is to be needed. What I need is to be indispensable to somebody. Who I need is somebody that will eat up all my free time, my ego, my attention. Somebody addicted to me. A mutual addiction."
Chuck Palahniuk (Choke)

He also wrote one of my all time favorites: Fight Club

TTT. I'm obsessed with breakfast foods lately. I will eat this for breakfast:
Oatmeal with: honey, cinnamon, walnuts, and Nutella

And then I'll end up eating this for Lunch: Eggs, turkey bacon, & toast
Not my actual meal or photo but you get the idea.

Seriously though, for the last week I've been knocking out 2 a day breakfastes and loving every bite.
Just don't ask me to go to Mexcian for dinner.

Do you Hate or Love Mexican food?

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?

Are you ready for some Football?!

Last night was absolutely fantastic! The weather was a rainy mess but we had a football game to attended and free beers to drink. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi back in 09' and I have been to many, many southern games; however, never in the style that I experienced last night! I don't know if I will ever be able to go to another game again unless I get suite box seats because I just don't have the words to explain out awesome it was.

Cue the old photos from graduation 2009:

I miss college all the time- my life has just gotten better and better since but I'll always look back at those days and give them the acknowledgement as "The best time of my life." Or maybe I'll just say that about my 20's - they really have rocked.

Now, back to football. We have a tropical depression currently on top of us and have been getting nothing but rain and wind for the last 2 days. I love rain and wind so I'm not so much annoyed with this other than the fact that I have to wear my hair curly and it's shorter now and not as cute when it's curly. I had to get my extensions taken out and I'm currently debating on getting them put back in or not.. that however, is a whole different story. I had gotten tickets from my boss for the first USM game of the season for last night in the suite box that our company has at the stadium. This was a new part of the stadium that was built my senior year in college and I never got the chance to watch a game living the VIP lifestyle. I was always in the student section sneaking in vodka and trying to get on TV not eating and drinking for free with the big dogs. Well, that allll changed last night! Finally my luck is shifting and people are starting to realize I'm kinda a big deal. (Insert laughter now) Let me just shut up and post pictures:

First picture time with my bayyybay Miss Olive

Aren't we adorable

This was after running about a 1/2 mile in the rain after parking.
We didn't get the VIP parking sadly- not that big of a fish yet.

Out in our private seating balcony area in front of the suite.
In the picture before this one you can see this area behind us.
Here they come!

Our view for the game! Notice all the water on the field.

Chad taking a game watching break to watch the LSU game on the TV in the suite

The BEST thing about the suite?
Not the free food, free beer, awesome seats, no.. it is the AMAZING private bathrooms!!! haha

The 2am drive home after a ton of beer and wine.

Southern won in a way to close for comfort game but hey, I'll take it! 19-17
Southern Miss To The Top!

Now, I've got to go get ready for the gym. No running today my body is beat from yesterday but I think some nice cross training will work out the kinks.

How was your weekend?
