Feeling Slutty.

Today I got Great news!

And I think I looked supa cute while getting it! lol

I have been interviewing for a position with a great company this past week and today was my last interview.... and I got it! I accepted my official offer today at 3pm while I was waiting on Breaking Dawn to start and tonight we decided to celebrate with food. Muahaha!

First off let me explain how I found out about this job... It's one of those weird stories where I believe in everything I have that God wanted me to be at this company. I got annoyed with my little job that I had due to some changes that happened and NO miscommunication about changing my schedule last minuet (don't you agree that if you change what someone works the night before that you should call/text them their new hours instead of letting them show up 2 hours early and then telling them to go back home?) so, last Tuesday I went back home after I went to work when I was originally supposed to, sat in front of my computer, and got on Career Builder. Let me also just state that I have never used that website for finding a job before; however, I typed in some things I was searching for and found 2 openings that I was interested in. I emailed them both my resume and then didn't think much of it. I figured hell why not just see what is out there, little did I expect a phone call an hour later from the first company that I sent my resume to! I was shocked and excited. He wanted to do an interview the next day and I accepted. That interview went really good and later that afternoon I got an email asking me back for a second interview which was today. As I stated above things went great and in less than one week I got a great job at a great company!

 I am so freaking blessed beyond measure I just don't know what to do with myself.

ALSO, other great Knight news - CK got 2 radio stations interested in him today and 2 more gigs!

He has set up 2 segmaents which will play his music and one of them wants to do a 30 mineut interview on air! We are so THANKFUL this Thanksgiving words cannot even begin to explain.

I miss you

I'm gonna be a little honest here and let everyone know: I'm a little homesick.

 Not really for home or the place because I'm head over heels in love with Seattle but for my family and friends. That's the only bummer about moving. I can't see my mom when I want, I can't call Michelle and make her go drink wine with me all night, I can't go into my old work and see all my redneck men, I can't go lay out with Morgan in her pool, etc. I just miss the people I was around every day for the last few years and that southern twang that only I speak up here. I'll shake this feeling off in a few hours but every now and again it creeps up. I can't wait to go home for Christmas and to see everyone, maybe it will make seeing them even better or at least that's what I'm thinking will happen.

Don't get me wrong, I am so happy here. I have a fun little job, a bunch of new sweet friends (that all have there own little twang that I'm currently in love with), and a husband that is working his ass of and blowing up the music scene in Seattle. He is in the process of landing a really big gig at a well known place on Nov. 19th we are just awaiting the official booking,(before I name name it and Jinx stuff) if/when that happens...it's a pretty big deal and a place where he possibly get heard and make some big connections. I have no doubt in his abilities and I've never met someone more driven so even if this opportunity doesn't pan out there will be more. Check out his Music people (His music is also at the Bottom of my blog) and Like him on Facebook it will make our day better AND you can say you knew him before anyone else did.

Life is one big adventure and I hope you all are making the most of every single day.

Now, after watching a little bit of the NYC  Marathon and some of the Seahawk VS. Cowboys game its time to get off my but and run a few miles before work. I'm watching the recap of NYC to see if I catch a glimpse of SkinnyRunner. You inspire me to get off my ass and go run a few miles when you just ran 2 back to back Marathons THIS WEEKEND.

Valley of the Dolls

First off- The Wedding Pictures are IN!!!!

Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! But now I have to select which ones I want BLOWN UP to go on my walls all over my house. Of course, most of them will just be ME because I like to look at myself and it was my wedding... Just kidding. I'm totally going to let Chad be in a few... maybe. I will be posting a whole blog soon full of wedding pictures and details of that crazy/fun/amazing/perfect day.

Due to the wedding pictures coming in my mom hightailed it to my house yesterday and is staying with us until she goes through all 1200 and makes her picks. I'm on lunch right now and she has only made it through the bunch one time and is already mad at me because there are just "too many to pick from they are all good" Well, Mom you can't have 1200 pictures blown up on you walls so get to work and make some choices! (I'm practicing tuff love on everyone right now and I know she is about to read this over my shoulder. Haha) Last night we cooked steaks and watched a movie I am kicking myself for not watching before. How did I miss out on this gem for so long?

I always thought this movie was about pretty girls in California. That's it, I didn't know it was about drugs aka "dolls" or sexuality and stardom in the 60's! Love it. I love movies that have real endings that aren't happy and that really reflect how messed up life can be. (See my love for Closer & Love Story)

Now, I need more suggestions on old movies to watch that I have missed out on.

Also, I promise from this day forward to call any prescription meds that I have to take Dolls.

Ahh details.. the wedding blog is coming I swear but I'm trying to wait for some more pictures to arrive so that you can have a visual.

Now, on to other things...

Running is driving me crazy.

After the two week break for the wedding and honeymoon I completely suck. I am slowly (think turtle crossing the grand canyon) building back up but it is one of the most aggravating things ever. Good news is that I have actually LOST weight since the wedding which is completely NOT what I was expecting. I think it has to do with the massive amount of stress that is gone. I'm feeling so good but I just can't wait to get back to my 4 mile runs that don't make me want to die.

Married life is pretty great. Chad is insanely happy...so happy that it's kinda freaking me out. It feels the exact same to me but he is just... happier. Hey, I'm so not complaining about him being happy - he surprised me today by taking my car and getting the windows tinted! (something I've been wanting for a year!!) Score. Sooooo should have married him sooner. haha

Last but certainly not least for today:

Tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for.

 It is time.

Heart be still, my Sunday nights are filled with blood once more!
