I miss you

I'm gonna be a little honest here and let everyone know: I'm a little homesick.

Not really for home or the place because I'm head over heels in love with Seattle but for my family and friends. That's the only bummer about moving. I can't see my mom when I want, I can't call Michelle and make her go drink wine with me all night, I can't go into my old work and see all my redneck men, I can't go lay out with Morgan in her pool, etc. I just miss the people I was around every day for the last few years and that southern twang that only I speak up here. I'll shake this feeling off in a few hours but every now and again it creeps up. I can't wait to go home for Christmas and to see everyone, maybe it will make seeing them even better or at least that's what I'm thinking will happen.

Don't get me wrong, I am so happy here. I have a fun little job, a bunch of new sweet friends (that all have there own little twang that I'm currently in love with), and a husband that is working his ass of and blowing up the music scene in Seattle. He is in the process of landing a really big gig at a well known place on Nov. 19th we are just awaiting the official booking,(before I name name it and Jinx stuff) if/when that happens...it's a pretty big deal and a place where he possibly get heard and make some big connections. I have no doubt in his abilities and I've never met someone more driven so even if this opportunity doesn't pan out there will be more. Check out his Music people (His music is also at the Bottom of my blog) and Like him on Facebook it will make our day better AND you can say you knew him before anyone else did.

Life is one big adventure and I hope you all are making the most of every single day.

Now, after watching a little bit of the NYC  Marathon and some of the Seahawk VS. Cowboys game its time to get off my but and run a few miles before work. I'm watching the recap of NYC to see if I catch a glimpse of SkinnyRunner. You inspire me to get off my ass and go run a few miles when you just ran 2 back to back Marathons THIS WEEKEND.
I looked up Hardcore the other day in the dictionary and there was a picture of you.

Heres a picture I saw floating around facebook that totally reflects me:
That little chunky munky is to presh for words.

Happy Sunday everyone!! I have Tomorrow off and I want to do something FUN.
PS. If you're in Seattle hit me up lets have a blog date soon.

Boo Boo-Hangover Bread

To be honest I don't even remember the last thing I blogged. I'm so far behind in my posts I think I'm just going to skip those posts and you will just all have to wonder about the last 3 weeks of my life. Here's a "Hangover" type of a picture montages:
BREAKFAST
IRATION
BOO.
BURNT UP. WHITE FACE
PRETTY

Okay, forget about the past lets talk future people.
I was off from work today so today was spent getting my GTF on. No not that F (sheesh!) I mean the FOOD F. We all know that I love food...it leads to all my other activities in life such as, trying to work the food off, going to work to get money to buy food with, and watching tv about making food. It's a vicious vicious cycle. I worked my tail off on the CrossRamp yesterday 3.5 miles and I was so sore when I woke up today I could barely stand it but I got up took care of some errands (nothing exciting: tanning, bank, grocery) and then I decided I should go to the gym. I had no excuse my day was finished and there was no reason for me not to go work out. It was odd but at that moment I made a Goal for myself. I am going to work out (in some form) every single day until Thanksgiving! So, today I did 2 terrible, horrific, shameful miles, the good news is that I did it when I really didn't want to. The bad news, I suck at running again, story of my life.

However, I will accomplish this Thanksgiving goal because of the following reasons:
1. It is only 20 days. 2. I gave myself the leeway of, "IF I work a 6-8 hour shift at work I can maybe skip that day" 3. I am big and need to get smaller. 4. I just told you I would and now I'm committed and can't back out.

I'm excited! I also started using this amazing IPHONE app to count calories (MyFitnessPal) and it is now brutally clear why I am so big =I EAT TO MUCH. Can you believe it?!

I also need to weigh soon, as in tomorrow morning (and hell no you're not going to find out what it says) because It's been about a month and I'm terrified of what it might say. Whoever made Wii fit is a bitch because when something big gets on it, it makes the "ohhhh" sound. WTF is that Nintendo!

Thanks.

No worries though, I'm ready for my challenge!
I'm also baking some Boo Boo Banana Bread from my favorite Housewife. I absolutely love all of her recipes and highly suggest any and all of her books, products, videos, basically anything she puts her name on. Feast you're eyes on this healthy version of heaven:

After!

So yummy! I now must go spend time with the husband...he's whining again.
