Only in my Jeannnsss

It's another blog where you get to know a little more random information about yours truly!

T. I am in love with this commercial:
I can't stop singing it, I'm in love. I love Debbie Gibson and this totally makes me want to go buy some jeans at Old Navy. Well played Old Navy, Well played.

TT. I love to cook. I would spend all day in a kitchen whipping up things from scratch and enjoying eating them later if I could. By the way I HATE my kitchen. It is too small, ugly, annoying, and no matter how much Chad cleans it (because we all know I don't clean it) it's never clean! I can't wait to cook in a real kitchen, one where I can put all my appliances out and have actual COUNTER SPACE to use.

TTT. I remember when Facebook was only for those in college. I had just graduated from high school and was waiting to receive my student email from USM so I could create my account. Then about a year later (I think) they started letting high schools in, then everyone came through the door and now both my mother and father have one. I don't so much as mind them because they aren't nosey but God Facebook sucks now due to the nosey family members who I shall not name on there. By the way if you are reading this you should be ashamed of yourself and stop gossiping so much. I miss the days of poking and wall remarks filled with party announcements and the latest break/make ups going on around campus. The days where if you were tagged in a terrible drunk picture from the night that you don't remember, you don't have to worry about nosey family members seeing it and trying to put you in AA the next morning. The days where you didn't have to accept people on Facebook but now that your family is on there you can't just keep ignoring them or they WILL ask you at the dinner table on Easter "why you aren't friends yet."

Also, be sure and check my blog tomorrow for a special Guest post by my partner from 20something bloggers 2011 Blog Swap!

Workout: Will be running bright and early tomorrow morning - had a really good run/workout both Saturday & Sunday and ready to go again tomorrow!

Chad Knight

It's time for My Music Monday!

I'm featuring someone pretty awesome today. He's really cute, a total sweetheart, incredibly talented, and one of a kind. Okay, so I might be a little bias considering I married him but come on... you all knew it was only a matter of time before I featured him on MMM.
It's my hubs, the one, the only, CHAD KNIGHT.
(He's the one in the middle)

His music style is like what would happen if someone took a big bowl of Sublime,  Everclear (not the booze), & Brantley Gore and mixed them together to form a 90's gooey cookie of good times. It amazes me every single time he is sitting on our couch playing the guitar and he comes up with new chords to a song he hasn't even written yet. How people create music is truly magical to me. Maybe it's because I could never do that or maybe it's because it's being created by someone that I am so in love with but watching someone create music is the most beautiful thing. I promise you though my musical taste (which I believe to be very good) are not swayed by the fact that I married this man. I swear on my blog that I would Never marry a shitty musician, he is legit. Too legit to quit that's for sure. I want him to follow his dreams and hopefully soon those dreams will lead the pathway to somewhere new and somewhere filled with opportunities.

Check out his music, and remember his name because I swear: you might not be screaming it later but you will be hearing it again, and again, and again.

Enjoy my favorite Chad Knight song right now:
I bet you can't figure out who it's about...

The In Crowd

I want to get in the in running crowd. I have Got to step up my game with running and reading some of my favorite running blogs inspires me and also makes me feel like that kid in high school that just wants to fit in. I love this girls blog Running off the Reese's and she does the best picture captions and is my inspiration for this post. Hopefully this give you a little insight and laughter into how I look at running.

I read all these blogs about, "getting my long run in today 16 miles" and I'm thinking... what in the hell? I consider my long run walking to my car.

I'm totally impressed and hate you a little bit for it but I just love reading all about your adventures.
Today at the gym things went good considering I took the last week completely off from everything. Epic fail- I even bailed on the spin class I blogged about...I know, I know I'm going to blogger hell for lying to you guys. However, today I got in 3.6 miles and got asked for my number (weird, I never knew I was the least bit attractive in the gym) it was a little odd and it was my first time having to say..."Sorry, I'm Married" You should have seen the look of, "Oh shit" on his face. Saying you're married to someone when they are trying to get your number is completely different than saying you have a boyfriend. I think it's the ultimate brick wall of: Nope you're defiantly not getting any. All of this took place in the middle of me running - Who comes up to you while you're running on a treadmill to ask you for a number??? Oh, sorry I made you ask me 2 times before I told  you I was married. You were mumbling and I was breathing so hard I couldn't hear you the first time. Man, I felt like a bitch.

Shut up, and yes I am

I can't believe I actually like running either... even if I only do it 3 miles at a time. When I was little I played soccer and I hated running so much I wanted to be the goalie (which I sucked at) needless to say soccer and I didn't work out. However, my mother finds it absolutely hilarious that I run all the time now and she likes to look at me and say, "I mean you used to hate running, I couldn't get you to run for anything" Well, Mom I remember always running into the kitchen when you cooked something.

Now, it's time for some wine with my girls before we head to CDK'S show.
