Push it!

Well...well...well...

Here's what I've been up to since Wednesday:

1. Slacking on working out (FAIL)

2. Selling as much stuff as possible before this move

3. Tracking down big boxes and kicking the homeless out of them.

4. Working/being a big baby about leaving my guys at work (I'm gona miss them)

5. Going out to every dump bar in Laurel before we leave just to say I have been.

6. Spending as much time with friends as possible.

7. Trying to complete tasks to get ready for this move (TONS OF THINGS)

8. Trying not to kill Chad for destroying our apartment. I'm ashamed at how ugly it is right now.

Last night started out like something out of a cheesey 80's movie where it's just a couple innocent kids that get taken on a wild ride one night that ends up being the best night EVER. Well, not really the best night ever but definatly one of those you look back on and say, "How in the hell did that happen last night?" Yesterday, after I got off work I stayed at the warehouse for a little bit and had some new 8oz Bud Light Lime's with my boss and warehouse manager. I absolutely love the guys I work with and I've never had a job where your boss has a cold one waiting on you at 5pm. Granted those are the perks that come while one works for a Beer distributor. So, we had a few beers and then it was time for me to try and drive home (I was totally under the legal limit but I did have a little buzz good thing I live verrrry close to my job - like a mile and half away) The hubs wasn't home and I didn't want the party to stop so I stopped in on my friend Michelle told her to get dressed and lets go downtown and drink 2 for 1 glasses of wine and make CK come get us later. (I'm a horrible wife) It didn't take much convincing and we arrived shortly at the bar! It was cheap wine on the special but we showed it who was boss and then we called my warehouse manager to come join us. At this point Chad was on his way back home and sent me the most beautiful text message I have ever gotten in my life, "So, you want me to come now or do dishes and trash first?" SERIOUSLY, although it makes it sound like all I do is beat my husband and make him clean and drive me around all the time I seriously did not expect him to be trained so well and so quickly. Girls, it takes a lot of time and effort to get them molded THAT good. haha... After CK got to the bar (yes, I said go home and do the dishes please -he's the best!) and we had our fill of wine we decided to go to a local legion club thing. I don't understand these "moose lodges" I just remember seeing them on Rosanne (remember that show! Love it) but I think you pay to be a member and then you can come drink there? But we aren't members and I'm not paying to be one so... we went and drank anyways. There was Karaoke... and that's about the last little bit I remember. Don't worry though...there's video.

Since I am the best singer/dancer in the world I have to preform for everyone. I have no idea why people let me do this to myself nor why my husband is sitting in a chair looking like he is waiting for lap dance. This is completely embarrassing but I love it anyways. Nor do I have any idea why I think I have to work the crowd? ARE YOU PUSHING IT LEGION??

Believe it or not, after that astounding rendition of PUSH IT by Salt-N-Peppa I felt the crowd needed a little more... so then I turned country and gave um a little Garth Brooks - I got friends in low places.

That brings me to this morning, I wasn't dead but I woke up with that feeling of, "did I make someone mad last night?" I hate that feeling! Turns out the only thing I did was dig my nails into Chads arm and draw blood when he tried to take my food INTO the bar to eat it. I'm a horrible wife but I swear it's only because my nails are long right now and I never let them get long and I didn't know my power. I love you husband and I'm sorry that I made you bleed, but you knew getting into this-- there will be blood.

Take me out to the BAR Game!

In case you live under a rock I'm here to let you know that it's Football season.

 In the South there is no such thing as Fall (its just too damn hot all the time) so it was replaced a few years ago as Football season and you don't come between a Southerner and football season. 

Granted, I like this "football" season but you can come between me and it... especially if you have a nice cold beverage in your hand. Some things I like about football: first things first the food (yes, I said it), the booze (yup, went there too), and the sexy men running really fast down the field with that cute little brown egg shaped ball. I'm pretty easy to please; I guess football to me is like Hooters for men.

Judge me if you must.

I saw the most adorable play earlier when I was at the gym watching the Patriot & Chargers game:

This little chubby angel intercepted the ball and ran as fast as his little heart could take him earlier and seeing this brightened my day. This defiantly goes in my most favorite football moments EVER book! I love it when chubbies get their moment in the spotlight, that's probably because that's most likely what I look like when running and us chubs gotta stick together! I hope he took that football home with him I know I would have.

Last night we also had another run in with football. The Hubs, Me, Katelynn, and Drew tried to go tailgate and to the USM game. Like I told you all before it was going to be hard to ever go to another game after the VIP treatment I received the last time. CK got off work late and made us miss the tailgating and I didn't want to go into the game late either so, we ended up at The End Zone a local sports bar right across from campus. Que the good times:

It's been a really a fun weekend and I'm so glad I got to spend it with Katelynn! Who says that you have to go to an actual football game to have fun? Take me to the Bar! 

And since I did 4.6 miles on the bike tonight at the gym I made these babies:

Jack Town Adventures (PICTURE HEAVY)

This past weekend I was out of town. Hence the Lack of blogging and running that occurred. However, lots of drinking, music, shopping, eating, helping my mom, & best friend time DID happen!

The Hubs had 2 shows this weekend in the Jackson area one on Friday night at the Irish Frog in Clinton and the other at Burgers & Blues in Ridgland on Sunday afternoon. Since I am from the Jackson area my family and friends are wonderful and love to come hang out with us at these shows. Here's a little recap from the Friday Night show:

PS. The Irish Frog & The Froghead Grill are NOT in the same location. We realized this after I almost bet money against my bestie Haley. Thank GOD she wouldn't bet me because I would have so lost.

After the show we went to my moms to stay for the night and the next morning we had to get up and help her with a garage sale. Let me give you a little background on this: My mother recently moved in with my gran because she is a HOARDER. Seriously, A&E missed out on this jewel of a woman. She is fantastic but she loves to buy things. Absolute JUNK actually. Her house is clean but rooms are filled with things and we agree that she hasn't thrown anything away since the 1970's. (I'm not joking) So, my mom moved in to help her get rid of things and get her house in order like it should be. Gran can't be there during this transformation because she can't let these things go. She would sit there and say, "I can use that don't get rid of it" and "It makes me happy I want to keep it." HOARDER ALERT. My mom has been working her tail off on this and it was time for me to come help so, Saturday morning we got up at 5am to set up for the garage sale. It went really well and we sold a lot (of junk) I seriously can't believe the things that people will buy. We made a lot of progress with the house and I'm going to go back up this weekend to help her with another BIG garage sale. (I wasn't kidding when I say her house is FULL of stuff. We could probably have 10 garage sales and still not get rid of all of it.)

Saturday afternoon consisted of shopping (looking for new running shoes!) and movies and dinner with Haley & Josh. Lets come up with a couple name for them! How about: Hosh. hahaha Chad and Josh have this man love thing going on and Haley and I love it. It's been the first time she hasn't dated a total dumb ass and we all love each other and getting to hang out which makes things way more fun.

Sunday we woke up early again to try and continue the garage sale but people don't go on Sundays. So, another 5am morning and then a glorious nap that afternoon. Naps are a wonderful thing.

After the nap we woke up to go shopping and I decided on my new running shoes! I took some photos today for you guys:

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but they felt so good on I decided to go ahead and get them. I took them for a test run today and 2.10 miles later I am VERY happy with my choice. It's like running on air. Now, I just need to get the Nike Chip for my I-touch and I'll be cool. (FINALLY)
