I am a basketcase.

I wrote this last week when I didn't have Internet... read below to understand how crazy I sometimes can get when I'm having full blow panic attacks about moving across the damn country. Whose idea was this again? Oh... mine.

It's Tuesday and guess what.. I'm passing on the three random things today and instead catching you up on this move! This has been a time of growth for our relationship and a time of absolute pure hell. Let me just start off by saying that, “I was excited to move” Well, I’m excited to Live somewhere new…Moving there on the other hand is horrible. I had about 20 meltdowns in the span of 7 hours yesterday and 1 full on panic attack that left me looking like this face down on a stripped bed….

Olive thinking... "you need to settle down psycho"

The task of packing ones crap up is one that many people don’t put a lot of thought into. You think, “Yea, I’ve got some stuff I’ll get about 10 boxes and that should be plenty” when in fact you need 3 times that amount. Or the task of wrapping each and every glass, dish, jar, and candle with newspaper several times so that it won’t break in route to your new home. When you handle so many 2009 (thanks to Chaddys granny & papaw) newspapers that your hands are stained black and feel thick with ink. YUCK. Not to mention all the standing, squatting, bending, lifting, and pushing that you will be doing or the fact that time is dwindling down and you may never finish. Forget that crap! We may never move away from Seattle now just because I never want to go through what I just did ever again! All in all I’m just another brick in the wall and we did it! We finished packing all 30 boxes, 6 bookcases, 2 TVS and 2 TV stands, 1 dresser, and a partridge in a pear tree….

I spy with my little eye OLIVE.

Too much CRAP.

We miss sleeping in that bed already... 6 days until we meet again!

We have too much stuff.

After freaking out all night and morning it was done and I was READY for the movers to arrive once they did it’s another story that I’ll save for next time. Let’s put it this way though: my Mom (who had to come down and help me because I was FREAKING OUT) now has two new facebook friends… Dave and Greg.

More moving adventures soon to come... We leave tomorrow for our first leg of driving up to St. Louis! Hopefully my Uncle in St. Louis has some Internet I can steal tomorrow before Chads show at Pop's Blue Moon.
Come out and play St. Louis!!
